"Stop crying." Luke poked his husband who was clearly tearing up but was hiding his face behind the camera that was faced to the stage.

"I'm not crying." Michael lied and looked at his husband with so much adoration Luke didn't feel bad about crying himself. "Look at him." He said and looked at the stage but made sure the camera was filming their son, dressed in a lion costume.

There were many more parents in the gym that was turned into a small theatre. The day Simon's teacher told them their son was staring as Leo the Lion in their adaptation of The Wizard of Oz was one of the proudest in their lives.

Luke took Michael's hand and squeezed it. "We made that."

At that moment Michael was sure Simon wouldn't mind he was out of the shot as Michael leaned to his husband and kissed him sweetly. "I love you both to the moon."

Luke's smile even grew as he kissed Michael's wedding ring. "And back."

They heard some whistling behind them and Luke didn't have to turn to know it was his brother who was sitting a few rows back. Luke rolled his eyes, it wasn't his fault Ben's daughter was only playing one of the many monkeys.

When the play finished a standing ovation followed. The musical was fantastic and Luke was happy they weren't the only parents crying.

"Daddy! Dad!" Simon ran into Luke's arms and Michael filmed that moment as well.

"You were so good." Michael praised and let his son kiss him on his cheek.

"We're so proud," Luke added.

The small one frowned. "Then why are you both crying? Are you lying to me?"

"No baby," Michael shook his head and turned off the camera. Luke let Simon on the floor so Michael could kneel in front of him. "They are happy tears, we promise. We're crying because you were amazing and we love you very much."

Simon smiled and nodded. "Okay. Can we go and get ice cream now?"

Luke shook his head with amusement but as soon as he saw the frown on his son's face he smiled and grabbed his hand. "Of course Simon."

The small being reached for his other dad who happily took his hand and followed him out of the school.
