Luke smiled when he saw Michael all cuddled up in a blanket at the back of the bus while playing video games.

"Hi." He walked up to him and lifted the blanket before cuddling next to him.

"Hi, Lukey." Michael frowned but put his over Luke's shoulder anyway. "You know they can come on the bus any minute?" He asked when Luke nuzzled his head in the crook of Michael's neck.

Luke noticed Michael wasn't in a queue for any game so he knew he had his attention.

"They won't. I told Ash and Cal I need to talk to you."

"You just said that and they believed you?" Michael was still a bit nervous but he loved Luke so close to him.

Luke shrugged his shoulders. "Ashton doesn't care and Calum probably thinks it's a gay chat."

"A what?"

He sighed and hugged Michael closer. Luke just wished Michael would shut up and cuddle him back.

"He saw my browser history was gay porn."

Michael started laughing. "Are you kidding me?"

"Stop," Luke whined.

"We should watch that together." Michael who was openly gay for years was having more fun than he should.

After Luke remained quiet Michael realized it probably wasn't as funny to him.

"Hey, Luke? Look I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that."

Finally, Michael leaned back on the couch and Luke was able to lie on top of him.

"I-it's not that I wouldn't want to or anything. I just don't want you to feel like you're an experiment for me just because you're the first guy I like."

"I don't think that," Michael whispered and when he started playing with his curls Luke closed his eyes and focused on Michael's heartbeat. "When you came up to me you told me that you like me not that you like boys."

"But you're a boy."

Michael laughed. "Yeah but you already know you find me attractive you weren't like I find gay porn hot can we make out so I can see if I'm gay?"

"Do you like me?" Luke asked quietly. Michael was more than a sweetheart to him ever since he knew about Luke's crush. He'd even flirt with him, making him all flustered but Luke didn't know if it was just Michael having fun or something else.

"I love you. You know that." Michael said after a while. This time Luke changed his position so he could see his best friends face. "And I do find you attractive. But I never thought about you like that... before. I'm not opposed to the cuddles though and I would not mind kissing you. Maybe. One day in the future."

Luke started giggling. "You're too cute."

Michael smiled down at him. "We'll take it easy. We just have to find out what to do about the other two band members who aren't invited to our cuddle sessions."

"Okay." Luke nodded and laid his head back down on Michael's chest.

Michael pulled the blanket over them and closed his eyes.

Once they were found sleeping like that, the rhythm section definitely did mind not being invited to the cuddle session.
