"I'm tired," Luke whined and hid his face under the covers.

He didn't understand how Michael had this much energy. They've been sightseeing Tokyo for the past few days and Luke could barely stand on his feet.

They came back to the hotel to change their clothes but Luke didn't want to move out of the bed. In his head, he was already having a nice bubble bath with his boy but the love of his life was getting on his nerves.

"Please, let's just go out and eat," Michael asked, begged him.

Luke wanted to say no because they could easily order room service but Michael always did what he wanted. Luke could suck it up for an hour or two to see his boyfriend smile.

"Fine. But we'll take a bubble bath when we come back."

Michael pulled him up and kissed him. "All the bubbles you want."

They changed their clothes and walked hand in hand a few blocks down to the restaurant where Michael wanted to dine in.

The food was amazing but for some reason, Michael didn't look happy and that made Luke upset. Maybe he was just tired but Luke's favorite job was to make him smile.

"Are you okay? Is the food bad?"

Michael quickly shook his head. "I guess, I'm just sad we're leaving tomorrow."

That made his boyfriend sad too. "Thank you for bringing me here." Luke took Michael's hand as they waited for dessert. "I've had an amazing time and we made so many good memories I'll treasure forever."

Finally, the frown on the older man's face disappeared. "There's still time to make more."

Luke blushed because they were leaving for the airport first thing in the morning so the only memories he imagined happening were in their bed.

As they walked back to the hotel Luke felt content. Michael's hand in his and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

He definitely didn't appreciate it when Michael let go of his hand. Luke turned back to complain but there was his boyfriend kneeling on one knee with a black box in his hand.

"Luke..."

"Yes." His eyes immediately filled with tears and when Michael's face lit up he fell into his hands.

They kissed and some people who walked by took pictures but the two didn't care. The couple only had eyes for each other.

"I love you," Luke whispered into Michael's ear.

And the ring on his finger said enough for how Michael felt in life.

Still, when they came back to the hotel there was time to make more memories.

And they did.
