Luke has been laughing at his boyfriend ever since he picked him up.

He was acting weird.

Michael's first words when he buckled himself up made Luke giggle.

"Just don't be nervous, okay?"

"I'm not nervous." Then Luke repeated for the tenth time. Under any other circumstances, he'd be pissed off by now but not at Michael. Michael was too cute to be annoying.

"I'm serious babe. She doesn't like a lot of people when she first meets them. I just don't want you to be upset because of it."

He was meeting his boyfriend's daughter for the first time and Luke was sure he got this. Kids love him. Michael loved him. So, I'd only make sense that little Fleur would love him too.

"You know I'm good with kids," Luke said. "Or do you think I'm not likable?"

Michael laughed. "You're very likable. That's why I'm introducing you to my daughter."

A strong feeling of pride overwhelmed Luke as he looked at his significant other. "I love you."

Michael leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I love you more."

He kept driving under Michael's instructions. "We're close now." The older man said. "I'll just call Vanessa to let her know where we are."

"Vanessa?" Luke asked completely surprised Michael mentioned his ex's name.

"Yeah. She's at her mum's right now. Where did you think she was?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't think we'll see her."

The woman they were talking about seemed to pick up the phone and Michael quickly ended the call and turned to his boyfriend. This time he was smiling.

"So, you're saying you're not afraid of meeting my daughter but you're nervous about seeing my ex?"

Luke whined. "Don't laugh at me."

"You're being funny." Michael giggled. "You two were friends in high school, why would you be nervous?"

"Because." Luke pouted. "She's pretty and we were friends before she started dating my ex-boyfriend."

"Such a baby." Michael leaned over and kissed his cheek again. "You're beautiful and last time I checked your ex-boyfriend is dating you again."

That did make Luke smile.

He calmed down but as soon as they were out of the car, he got nervous again. Michael started talking but Luke didn't listen to a word he said it was all a blur. Then they were standing in front of an apartment door and Michael knocked.

A moment later a woman Luke knew in high school opened them with a baby girl in her hands. She looked beautiful.

"Daddy." She shouted before she realized Michael wasn't alone. She turned to Luke and tipped her head to the side. "Who are you?"

"Fleur, baby, this is daddy's special friend Luke."

"You're pretty," Fleur told Luke and moved her hands from her dad to Luke's direction.

Without asking anything Vanessa passed the little girl to Luke who looked surprised from one parent to another.

"You were right." Michael laughed as he observed his daughter pet Luke's curls. "She loves you."

Luke blushed and squeezed the little girl against him. When Vanessa left Michael found them playing in the living room.

"My favorite two." Michael grinned and took a picture.

"Daddy?" The little one asked and in a few seconds, Michael was there to scoop her up into his hands. "Yes, flower?"

Luke found it funny because her name did actually mean flower.

"Mummy said she and her special friend won't have any more kids so will you and Luke give me a baby brother or sister?"

Luke almost passed out and blushed when he heard the question but Michael didn't. "I won't make any promises but let me tell you a secret. I love Luke very much and I'd love to have another baby that'll be ours."

"Then you'll have favorite three to love."

"Or four, or five." Michael grinned and kissed first his little love and his big love too.
