MUKE one shots ♡

"I can't believe we're here," Luke whispered.

Michael was too busy to answer. He was holding their tickets in one hand trying to locate their seats while his other hand was squeezed between Luke's long fingers.

After a few long minutes of searching, they finally managed to find the two empty seats in the sea of Australian fans. The game was about to begin and they were late because Luke insisted on getting an Australian flag face painted on his cheek.

Michael had to tell him he looked cute about three times before he managed to get him to the arena.

Just as they sat down on their seats the pre-game program started. The official announcer started talking and fans started to cheer.

Luke kissed Michael's cheek after they've stood up to greet the players of both teams.

"I told you we wouldn't miss it." He told Michael smugly.

Michael wanted to say something but didn't because he could see the jerseys of his country's basketball players.

He didn't travel across the world to fight with his boyfriend but to watch his best friend kick ass in basketball.

As Calum ran onto the court the crowd went insane for the captain of their team.

Even on the tribunes, the atmosphere was amazing. The adrenaline rush made everybody jump and cheer and Michael didn't regret traveling across the world to be a part of that.

During the break, Michael refused to talk to Luke for acting like a spoiled brat for the entire day.

Luke, on the other hand, was glued to Michael's side and tried to make him eat the sandwiches they've brought with them.

"Mikey don't be mad at me. You know how excited I get about these things."

Michael ignored his boyfriend and kept staring at the statistics that were shown on the big screen.

The edge of the screen got framed with a bunch of hearts and kiss cam was announced.

Friends and couples were shown on the camera and some kissed on their lips, others just kissed each other's cheeks.

And of-fucking-course it landed on them.

They looked cute, Michael had to admit that. Luke pressed against him and looking at him with heart eyes.

Luke didn't notice the camera was on them so Michael took him by surprise and kissed him fiercely, earning loud applause from the crowd.

Luke blushed and snuggled back to him.

Michael looked down and saw Calum waving at them with a large grin on his face.

"I knew you weren't really mad at me," Luke said happily when Michael finally took the offered food.

Luke's once perfect face paint was smeared all over their cheeks.

To this day Luke is still taking credit for Australia's win that day because Calum only became MVP due to seeing his friend making out on the big screen.
