Luke kept looking at his phone with the biggest smile on his face.

It was ridiculous but neither of his bandmates who were currently in the States decided to acknowledge that. Luke seemed happy so that was okay with Calum and Ashton.

It's been a week since Michael had sent him that text and two weeks since they have last seen each other.

To this day Luke's been so obsessing over it he even thought about using the screenshot of it as his background but was afraid that fans or his bandmates would see it.

"Hey, Ash?"

Ashton looked up from his computer. He was sitting on the sofa opposite to the one Luke was on.

"When are we picking Michael up from the airport?"

His heart was doing funny things when he imagined he'll see his best friend soon.

"We're not."

Luke frowned immediately.

"He texted me this morning saying he caught an early flight and he'll just take a cab to the house."

He quickly googled the flights from Sydney to LA because he was too scared to text Michael himself.

After an hour Luke asked again, this time Calum if he knew when Michael was coming.

"He's in LA but apparently he's stuck on the road."

Luke was starting to get anxious so he decided to go and wait for Michael in his room.

Because he wasn't sleeping properly for the past few days he got sleepy. Recently, all he thought about was Michael and the last time he saw him. At a Christmas party back in Australia where they kissed behind Calum's house.

"Lukey."

Luke realized he fell asleep and when he opened his eyes Michael was there.

"Hi," Michael smiled and traced his fingers over Luke's cheek.

"You're here," Luke whispered, making Michael grin.

"Yeah, I couldn't find you anywhere and when I called you I heard your phone and found you here."

"I missed you." - "I love you too."

The boys started giggling after saying those words at the same time.

"Can I kiss you?" Michael asked softly, still leaning over his best friend.

Luke nodded and when their lips touched again Luke was finally able to breathe.

This is all over the face but I needed to write some fluff.
