Luke sighed and send a document to printing before saving it into the finished folder. He then opened the next one in the line and started working on it.

The offices were almost empty and he finally had some peace and was able to concentrate. He was putting in extra hours trying to get his Monday off since it was his son's birthday and he really wanted to spend it with his family.

Loud laughter was heard and the blond groaned. He then heard someone running and was ready to stand up and told off whoever decided that it was okay to do that in a working place.

"Daddy!" Luke looked above his computer in surprise and saw his little boy in between his office doors.

"Baby, what are you doing here?" Luke asked and stood up so the three-year-old could run into his arms. He hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek. "Where's your dad?"

"Right here."

Luke smiled at his husband who followed their son. Michael walked to him and kissed him. Luke easily relaxed into Michael's hold and the family hug unstressed him momentarily.

"What are you guys doing here?" He didn't even have the energy to be mad about this unplanned visit because of which he'd probably have to stay in the office even longer.

"We're on our way back from your mother's house, she and Jacob went to pick up his birthday gift." Michael took Jacob from Luke and seated him on Luke's table before he pushed Luke on his chair and started rubbing his shoulders.

Luke groaned as he felt the built-up tension slowly release and Michael massaged his shoulders gently.

"We also brought you some of her pasta which we know you like."

"Thank you, I appreciate it a lot, Mikey," Luke answered still not opening his eyes. "But kind off need to hurry otherwise I'll have to stay late tomorrow as well."

"We'll go," Michael said sweetly and kissed his head. "Just promise me you'll eat. And then text me when you finish and I'll come and pick you up."

Michael picked up Jacob and let him kiss his daddy.

"Michael you don't have to. You know I can take the bus, it's a half an hour ride-"

"It's an hour ride with the bus and the little one loves sleeping in the car seat."

If Luke had the energy to cry he would, he had the most amazing husband in the world.

"I love you."

Michael smiled and leaned down to kiss Luke. "I love you too. Now be good and eat and then in the evening if you won't fall asleep right away we'll take a bubble bath."

"Me too!" Jacob shouted and Michael shushed him. "No, you'll be asleep."

"Bye, babe." Michael pecked Luke's lips once more and then Jacob pressed a wet kiss on his forehead.

Luke scrunched his nose but smiled anyway as he watched his two boys leave.
