"Luke what are you doing?"

Ashton, Luke's friend asked when he saw his best friend looking at something through the bookshelves.

"Shh." Luke shushed him and pulled him closer. "Look at him."

Ashton did what Luke said and saw a red-haired boy studying in the middle of the library. That, of course, would be nothing unusual if that boy wouldn't be Michael Clifford.

"Is that Michael Clifford studying?"

Luke nodded with excitement. "Do you know him?"

"Yeah, he helps teaching computer classes my little sister goes to."

"Oh my god that's so adorable." Luke squealed.

"Since when do you care about him?" Ashton asked. "I know you think he's cute but-"

"He asked my brother if I already had a date for the school dance next week." Luke didn't look away from the computer geek, not even when Ashton poked him hard.

"Are you serious? That's so cool."

"I know. He came to me at lunch and asked for my number. He complimented my hair, Ashton!"

Before Ashton could reply he noticed Michael looking at them. "Luke, he saw us. He's coming here!"

Luke didn't even have the time to stop his friend from leaving before Michael was already next to him.

"I'm sorry." Michael smiled politely and Luke blushed. "I need a French dictionary."

"I don't know where they are," Luke mumbled.

"Actually." Michael stepped closer to him so Luke could feel his breath on his cheek. He then reached above Luke and pulled a small book from the shelf above Luke's head. "I do."

Luke stopped breathing and soon enough he woke up from his dreams.

On the floor.

He sighed and closed his eyes wanting to go back to the world of dreams.

Luke checked the time and noticed he still had an hour left to sleep.

There was also a text waiting for him.

Do you want to go to the school dance with me?

Thoughts?

I normally hate 'it was only just a dream' fics but this one had a happy ending.

I'm halfway done with the smut so expect it tomorrow or the day after.
