"Calm down love." Luke laughed when the plane finally landed.

As much as he loved being home, he hated long flights. His boyfriend didn't care how long the travel time was, he wanted to go home as soon as their holiday break has officially started.

Michael was already standing in the aisle, ready to leave the plane. Even when they were first class there would still be people who are in a hurry and they weren't.

"I'm hungry," Michael complained, he took Luke's hand and pulled him towards the exit. "And mum promised she'll make my favorite."

"All of her food is your favorite." Luke chuckled and said goodbye to the flight attendant.

They had no bodyguards with them so Michael called the airport and got them a cab near the exit. Not that they didn't want to meet the fans but they didn't want to meet a lot of them.

Michael was hungry and that meant hangry as well. Luke was the only one who was immune to his boyfriend's complaining. There was nothing a few kisses wouldn't fix.

"Wait, are you coming to my house?" Michael asked in the car heading to the city.

Luke shrugged his shoulders. They didn't plan those things. "Lunch at your house, dinner at mine?"

It hasn't been that long since they've been in Sydney so Luke was sure his family didn't miss him that much. Except for Ben but he could wait another few hours.

"Where will we sleep?" Luke asked a minute later. If they'd have dinner at the Hemmings' house it'd only be reasonable for them to stay there as well. But Michael liked his man cave back at home.

"Should we sleep apart?" Michael suggested. He looked just as hesitant as Luke did. "I mean I'll probably play video games until three in the morning and you'll go on the beach with the fam an hour after I'll go to sleep."

Luke nodded. "Makes sense. But if I can't sleep, I can call you, right?"

"Of course," Michael rolled his eyes and kissed his boyfriend's temple.

"Mikey."

Michael opened his eyes, it was dark but Luke's eyes were shining. He'd also recognize his touch and scent everywhere.

"Luke? I thought we agreed you'd call, not come over in the middle of the night." Michael complained while yawning but pulled Luke in a hug anyway.

Luke kissed his cheek and laughed. "It's almost one in the afternoon."

His boyfriend checked his phone like he didn't believe him but saw Luke was right. "We didn't have any plans I've missed?"

Luke jumped off the bed and opened the heavy curtains that blocked all the light making Michael groan. "Not yet but I made some plans for us so you need to shower and eat."

"I don't like any plans that I need to shower for."

His boyfriend pouted and gave him his prettiest puppy eyes. "For me?"

"Mean." Michael commentated but kissed his boy and got ready anyway.

Once he ate Luke started driving towards the Hemmings' house. Their houses were a fifteen-minute walk away if they used shortcuts or a ten-minute drive. After five minutes Luke stopped next to a big apartment complex.

Michael took Luke's hand as soon as they got out of the car. "Why are we here?"

"I couldn't sleep."

"Why didn't you call?"

Luke looked at his boyfriend and Michael got the message. "I couldn't sleep so I came up with the idea. That even if we're not home much we should still have a place we could come to when we are here."

"You bought us an apartment?" Michael asked in disbelief.

Luke bit his lip. "I made a call and they're showing us a few. It's halfway between our houses, you can have a gaming room here, we'll give the spare keys to our parents and whenever we come home, we can call a service and get it dusted and stuff."

Michael kissed him, hard. "You're amazing. You know that, right?"

Luke blushed and just pulled his boyfriend behind as they went to meet the lady who'd hopefully sell them a new future home.
