"Who's he?" Michael asked as he spotted a curly blond boy on the bleachers.

Calum, the first and only friend Michael has made in a week since transferring schools, looked in the direction the pink haired boy pointed.

A slow grin stretched over Calum's face, making Michael confused for a second.

"You people really do have a gaydar."

"A what? And which people?" Calum was cool, easy-going, and had a similar music taste to Michael but he was weird. He talked like a reincarnation of some philosopher, whose ideas never made it into history because they were too weird even for their field.

"You gay people have a radar for other gay people. That's Luke Hemmings, he's the only not straight person I know." The smile on Calum's face changed as he seemed to remember some awful memory. "Except this girl I once asked out. And of course you."

Michael laughed and shook his head. "I can point at least ten people right here watching the game that aren't straight in addition to at least two of your teammates on the pitch that are boning each other."

Calum who was out of the football game because of his injured shoulder glanced at the pitch. "My money's on Casey and Josh. They always slap each other's asses when they come out of the showers."

"Maybe they're soulmates?" Michael suggested.

"If my soulmate will slap my ass I'd rather stay alone forever."

The game had begun and all Michael could do was look at Luke and his pretty curls. He let out a loud sigh because he loved beautiful boys.

"Tell me more about him," Michael asked Calum who was widely cheering and had no clue what Michael was on about.

"He's got two older brothers who'd kill you if you'd ever hurt him." Calum didn't take his eyes off the game and seemed to ignore all of Michael's future questions.

Then Michael decided to do something out of his comfort zone, he wasn't shy by any means but it wasn't in his nature to be this brave. He left Calum by himself and moved a few rows down to the spot he's been eying for the past half an hour.

"Can I sit here?" He asked, trying to be polite and not blush too much.

The moment their eyes have met Michael felt his stomach turn, his heart speeding up, his brain turning off.

"Y-yes. Sure." The blond mumbled and lifted his jacket so Michael could sit down.

They were still looking at each other and even if the home team would score they probably wouldn't notice.

"I'm Michael," he introduced himself. He wanted to offer him his hand but wasn't sure if he could survive the touch if just them looking at each other felt like an earthquake.

"I know, you caught my eye," Luke admitted with a blush on his cheeks. "I'm Luke."

"I know." Michael smiled.

"I don't want to get my hopes up," Michael whispered loudly enough for Luke to hear. "But I've either got really ill or does this mean something."

Luke's wide smiled made Michael hope for the best.

Because if this was his life and he was his soulmate Michael wouldn't complain about anything else for the rest of his life.

"4?" Luke asked and Michael nodded.

He wasn't sure if Luke wanted to do this number by number but he was too impatient. Michael pulled his sleeve up and revealed a small tattoo, a six-figure number.

No one seemed to notice them when Luke's eyes teared up and leaned forward to embrace the boy he doesn't even know well. But what he does know is that they're meant to be together.

A loud cheer from the bleachers made a few people turn their heads, there was no goal but Calum found something to be excited about anyway.

I need a soulmate who'll buy me stuff but leave me alone otherwise.

Thoughts?

Soulmate (+magic) is my favorite AU, which is yours?

//this was the last request and I'll soon put up new ones but I'll only do the ones from readers who I see in the comment/votes regularly. there are always some who never comment and then just randomly pop up when I ask for requests - rude//

I passed all of my exams so I'll start planning my new story which will be very good. A lot of pinning. A lot of muke.

Love, Lucija ♡
