Jealousy was stirring inside of Michael when he watched another boy ask the prettiest human on the planet to the dance.

Judging by the boy's reaction, Luke said no. He said no to a lot of boys and girls in the last week or so and it made Michael sad. Not because he was picky, but because the beautiful angel will eventually have to say yes to somebody.

Michael wasn't planning on going but he already bribed Calum to take some paparazzi shots of Luke. Just so he'll know how stunning Luke looked.

"What will you be wearing to the dance?" Luke asked Michael, who was sitting next to him in Biology.

They rarely talked but when they did it was either school or music-related.

Michael looked at the curly-haired boy in awe. "I-I'm not going."

The younger boy frowned. "Why not?"

He just shook his head. It was a long story just as much as it was a short one. Michael changed the conversation the only way he knew how to.

"What will you be wearing?"

"Oh." Luke looked surprised but he probably wasn't. He wanted Michael to ask him that since he was talented at creating outfits. "I mean if you really want to know."

He pulled a large sketchbook out of his bag and showed a page to Michael.

It had a well-drawn sketch of the clothing together with glued on scraps of fabric.

"The pants will be flared and the jacket will be gold."

"Beautiful," Michael mumbled, and only when he looked up to Luke, he saw the boy was blushing.

"Do you really think that?"

He nodded and contemplated on asking Luke to do homework together after school. Luckily for him, the teacher walked into the classroom and finished his plans that would burn in flames anyway.

When he got home, he decided on stalking Luke's fashion Tumblr account to see how the beautiful outfit he won't get to see in person will turn out.

Michael noticed the sweet boy even made a tag about the outfit for the dance so he clicked on it. Then he somehow came across Luke's personal account he didn't even know existed.

Eagerly, he clicked on it and wasn't disappointed as Luke seemed to have many followers there as well and got asked a lot of questions.

Are you single? - Yes x

Is your hair naturally curly? - It is, thanks to my mumma.

There were many more Michael needed to read but before going to sleep he decided on sending one himself. Anonymously, of course.

You tell all the boys no. Makes you feel good?

In the morning he quickly checked the answer.

I'm just waiting for the right one to ask (: but I think I'll just say yes to the next one since the person I wanted to go with is not going.

Michael didn't want to presume anything but the next question Luke answered almost made him pass out.

Aww. I thought you already had someone to go with since you made them a shirt that would match your pants? - I took his measurements under a pretense ):

Michael quickly got dressed and his mother asked if he was sick. He kissed her cheek and asked where the nearest flower shop was.

He came to school early but decided to hang out in the parking lot which turned out to be a good idea since the moment Luke and his brother parked, someone was headed in their direction.

"Luke," Michael called out and the moment he got his attention Luke walked towards him with a smile on his face.

"Hi." The younger but taller boy seemed surprised by the encounter.

"I-I found something that will go with your dance outfit."

Luke's eyes shined as Michael pulled a gold glitter sprayed rose out of the small bag.

He carefully touched every petal before looking at Michael. "Thank you, Michael. But it'll dry before the dance next week."

"I'll buy you another one." Michael looked at Luke and realized they were never so close to each other before. "If you'd want me to."

Luke nodded. "Only if you'll go with me."

"It'd be rude since you already went through the trouble of taking all of my measurements in the biology class when you were only supposed to measure my height."

Michael helped Luke to pin the rose into his hair. The glitter was falling everywhere but he didn't care.

"I was expecting you to ask me."

Michael frowned. "But why? I'm not good at talking. Especially not to you."

Luke shrugged his shoulders. "Calum said I have to say no to everyone but you."

Thoughts?

Shy and jelly Michael?

The unreachable and talented Luke?
