JACE POV
     I was peeing my pants. I ran into the bathroom and didn't see the unirals. They must be on the other side of the stall. I thought to myself. I went into the stall and finally let it out. I sighed. Then I remember, Walmart has the unirals before the stalls. I'm in the womans restroom!!! I was about to open the stall when a few women walked in. I stopped and waited. "Ugh, I swear boys are idiots" Izzy?
     "Agreed" I grin. It's carrots. I've been crushing on her for a few years now. She was just so beautiful. Izzy sighs I see her feet go up. She's probably sitting in the sink.
      "Why can't Simon just open his damm eyes and see that Maia is flirting with him......sometimes I think he's cheating on me" Izzy says. If he is I will kill that rat!
        "At least you have a boyfriend!" Carrot exclaims. "Guys won't even give me a second look" she says sadness in her voice. I bite my lip. I do, I look at you all the time red.
         "Oh Clare" Izzy says. I imagine Izzy wrapping Clary into her arms.
          "If he can't see how damm amazing you are....he doesn't deserve you" Izzy says. "I need to change my tampon now" Izzy says. I swallow and my cheeks heat up slightly.
             "Well that makes sense, you know maybe The Maia thing is just in your period mind" carrot says.
            "Nope, the bitch's flirting" Izzy says from the stall next to me. Clary laughs lightly.
              "Have you ever cheated on anyone?"
             "I haven't had anyone to cheat on....other than Simon" Izzy says. Carrot sighs.
              "He'll never notice me" Carrot says. Who?
              "Clare, as I said before....boys are idiots....and if he can't see the amazing person in front of him then it's his lost" Izzy says. A boy....a boy that Clary likes....a lot. My stomach churns and I get this weird sense of anger and frustration....and.....Jelousy?
          "Maybe Aline's right, maybe I should wear more make up...and better clothes" No Red, I love you how you are, don't change for some random idiot.
           "Uh Uh" Izzy disagrees. "If he wants you, he's gonna have to want you for you" She says.
            "Oh God Izzy, he's never gonna want me for me, have you seen me.....have you seen him, he can have any girl he wants by just looking at them. He's never gonna want me!" Carrots says. Then screw him!
           "Then screw him!" Izzy says reading my mind. "Clary You are amazing, and you are SO much better than any of his little sluts......" She says.
           "I know I shouldn't change, but he only sees me as a friend Iz, and....I....I.....I'm in love with him" She says. My heart breaks. What about me red? I'm in love with you. Clary scoffs. "But What does that matter.......Jace Herondale won't care about me either way, I'm still not good enough." A weird feeling went through me. Love and jubilance, longing and despare. I wanted to jump out of the stall and hug her, but also scold her and telling her she's an idiot for thinking that lowly of me. I open the stall and pick Clary up. She gasps. "J-Jace?" She stutters. Izzy's eyes are wide.
        "I love you too Red, You don't have to change....I love you just the way you are" I say and kiss her. She kisses me back forgetting to ask me why I was here. I hear Izzy walk out of the bathroom. I wrap my arms around her waist and deepen the kiss never wanting to let go of my perfect Carrot 🥕 .
