JACE POV
I look up at my mommy. She smiles at me and squats down to my level. "Ok Jace....Now you be nice to The other kids ok?"
"Ok mommy," I say as I nod. It's my first day of kindergarten. My mommy smiles and kisses me. I'm not going in without friends. I have Alec with me! He's my best friend. I walk into the classroom and see my teacher there to welcome me. I sit down on the floor with the other kids and look around.
"Hey Jace!" Alec says. He sits down next to me and smiles. "Is that a new lunchbox?!" Alec says. I smile at him and nod.
"Yeah....it is...I got tired of Batman...so I asked mommy for a Superman one!" I tell Alec.

"Ok Class....can anyone tell me what this is?" The teacher asks. She draws a circle on the borde.

I raise my hand. "Yes Jace?" The teacher says.
"It's a circle!" I say.
"No! It's an Oval..."
"Very good Clary!" The teacher says turning to a red head girl. She smiles at me evilly (more like very nicely...Jace just doesn't notice). She had long red hair with a flowery dress.

Eventually the teacher says it's time for lunch. I go to the lunch tables and eat my sandwich. I watch Clary from where I'm sitting. She was next to that brown haired boy I always see when I go outside. He just sits there watching everyone...it's really creepy. Clary had a stuffed bear on her lap. What a baby! She has to have a teddy bear?

I was playing Tag with Izzy and Alec. "Hey guys! Can Simon, Magnus And I play?!" Clary asks hugging her teddy bear.
"Sur-," I interrupt Alec by yanking him away from the group.
"Don't let them play!"
"Why?" Alec asks confused.
"Do you really want to play with a creep a glitter weirdo and a Hobo?!" I ask Alec.
"Well....Um...." I yank him back into the group. "You Can play..." Alec says panicked with the pressure.
"Except Clary!" I add.
"Why can't i play?" Clary asks.
"Because! I say so!"
"And who are you?! The king of England?!" Clary asks.
"You can't play!" I say angrily. It doesn't matter if I didn't know what inland was!
"But Why?!" She asks.
"Because you're a hobo!" I say. Clary angrily marches away.

CLARY POV
Angry tears fall down my face. I am not a hobo!

The name stuck...Clary the hobo...i hated being called this. I never had friends after Simon and Magnus. They eventually slipped into Jace's group and forgot about me. I was always in the back, looking at how everyone managed themselves. Jace was always a jerk to me. He would pull my hair in first and second grade, trip me in third and fourth, shove me 'accidentally' in fifth and sixth. Call me names worse than hobo in seventh and eighth. Then he kinda left me alone for Freshman and sophomore year. My mom got worried about me growing depressed since I haven't had friends in so long, so she sent me to this anti depressing camp or whatever. Which really did nothing but fix my appearance a bit...

I don't know if it was puberty or what but I finally felt beautiful. I actually wanted to see Jace's reaction to this...I wanted him to choke while he swallowed all the insults he used to insult me. I grab the best outfit I could find and put it on.

JACE POV
I put on a shirt and a pair of jeans. Today I finally get to see Clary again. She's really pretty. And I finally noticed the crush I had when we were in freshman year. I walk into school how I normally do, with Izzy all over Simon, Magnus trying to make Alec blush and me just tuning them out as I think of Clary. Instead of passing to see Clary at her locker. I see a beautiful ginger in her place. She had low ponytail and had dark clothes on.

She rumbles through her locker and bag. Then I noticed she had the same bag clary had last year. Oh my god.....this is Clary Fray....
