JACE POV
     I was sitting at the table with......wait what's her name again? "So then she told me Ashley, you need to get into this solar tan machine" she keeps talking. Ashley. The only thing this girl did was blah on and on about her pathetic life. A waiter walks up to us.
     "Hello my name is Clary and I will be your waiter tonight" she says gingerly. I feel my eyes widen slightly. She was beautiful. Something too beautiful to belong to this world. I swallow.
      "I will have a salad, with no chicken, beef, ranch, tomato,onions, salt, pepper,radishes and peppers" Ashley says. Clary writes it down frowning.
       "Sooo, only lettuce?" Clary asks. Ashley glares at Clary.
         "Uhhhh chyeah" she says. I want to flirt with Clary and maybe get her number, but I'm on a date, i can't just flirt with her even though I will probably screw Ashley and never talk to her again. Also....I don't think that's the type of relationship I want to have with her.  After more boring hours we finally get the desert. "Ummmmm, excuse me" Ashley says disgusted with the amazingly delicious looking piece of cake. Clary said it was medium size, but it looks small.
       "Yes?" Clary asks.
        "You said the cake was medium size"Ashley says. "This is huge" she says.
         "Oh, well, I-I guess we have our different perspectives, I'll change that for you" she says politely.
          "This, is medium size for you?" Ashley asks. Then she judgedly (A/N: That is probably not a real word but screw it) Looked at Clary up and down. "Makes sense" Ashley says. Clary blushes embarrassed. I turn my head towards Ashley, but my eyes never leave clary's face.
          "Uh, Ash" I say slowly.
          "Listen, I saw you eyeing my Boyfriend, and here is something I can tell you, news flash he isn't interested, not because he has a girlfriend but because he doesn't date girls who look like they weigh 1,000 pounds" Ashley says. I frown and finally look at her
             "Ashley" i hiss. I look at Clary. Her face was red and she had tears in her eyes.
            "I'm sorry," Clary says quietly. "I'll.." she gets cut off by a gasp.
            "Oh my goodness, biscuit, what's wrong" a familiar voice says. Magnus hugs Clary. He looks at me. "Jace?" He asks then rolls his eyes. "I should've known"
            "You're a manager" I ask him.
            "Of course not,my family has had this restaurant for years" Magnus says. Clary pulls away.
             "Magnus it was my fault, I-I misunderstood and I made a scene, I'm sorry Magnus" she says as she picks up the plate.
               "Biscuit You Don't misunderstand" Magnus says. I nod.
           "Yeah, you're right, if anyone misunderstood it's me" I say. Everyone looks confused. "I misunderstood you were an even bigger asshole than me" I tell Ashley, her eyes widen and her Jaw drops. I turn towards Clary. "This might be a bit sudden but.....will you go on a date with me?" I ask Clary. She looks shocked. She looked at Magnus and he smiled. She smiled back at me.
         "Gladly" she says taking my hand. We walk out of the restraint and have an amazing date.
