CLARY POV
     I sigh as I go up to the altar. I was in my wedding dress with my bouquet. My parents and friends couldn't make it. They were incredibly sorry, but this is better, it's just me and Jace getting married. I waited by the altar for Jace. He was running a bit late. The priest was reading over his lines while his assistant polished the rings. And so we waited.

      Jace was late. We were supposed to be here at 5:30, but it's 6:38. The priest had burned his lines into his brain, and the rings were shining. I kept waiting for Jace knowing he would eventually make an entrance.

     It was 7:28, the priest looked up at me. "My dear child...are you sure he's coming?" The priest asks.
      "He has to come...why wouldn't he?" I ask.

     It was 8:02 and finally the terrible idea that he wasn't coming crashed down on me. Finally the doors opened. I straighten up only to see Alec, Jace's best friends walk towards me. "Alec?" I ask. "What are you doing here?"
      "I'm sorry Clary.....i came to tell you that.....Jace Isn't coming," Alec says. The bouquet in my hands dropped.
       "What?!" I ask.
       "He ran off with Kaelie, I'm sorry," Alec says as he inches away.kaelie, my best friend Kaelie? He left me. He left me at the altar in my wedding dress. I thought he loved me....tears roll down my cheeks. The priest says something and so does his assistant as they leave. I grab the rings, and anger courses through me. And then udder depression. He left me. I stumble out of the church. I see a river next to the church. I go into the river and sit down. My wedding dress getting soaked in the water. But I didn't  care. I throw the rings down the river as hard as I can. I then start crying. He left me at the altar, and didn't even bother to show up.
