Harry finished talking to the doctors and nurses before he and Marian left to go home. He had a binder full of her care, list of medications and doctors numbers. He made them put his number on speed dial the second they found a donor heart.

They have him an update on her prognosis after running her final tests. The timeline had decreased by a month because of the conditions of her heart. If a donor heart wasn't found soon, then her life could possibly end in five months or sooner. He felt like he has been sucker punched in the gut.

He thanked the doctors for their care of her and made his way to her room. She was dressed and sitting in a wheelchair holding Faith giving her kisses and whispering to her.

"Love, are you ready to go home?" He asked giving her a weak smile.

"I'm ready daddy, let's take our beautiful daughter home. I can't wait to see my flat again," she smiled up at him.

He put on the best front that he could to the fact he was taking her home. He dreaded telling her that her time was even more limited.  He hoped she wouldn't kill him when she realized they weren't going to her flat.

Some nurses came in and said they would push her but he told them no and asked them instead to carry her things.

"I'm her husband I can push her," he snapped.

"Harry, don't snap at her. She is only doing her job." Marian said.   "I'm so sorry, he is just worried about getting the baby home. It's his first one," she smiled at the nurse.

"It's understandable," the nurse said and grabbed Marian's bags.

"Ready, love?" He asked and wheeled her and Faith out of the room to the elevator.

He saw the sad looks of the hospital staff as they waited for the lift. "Can't wait to get home. Sick of hospitals," he said under his breath.

Marian raised Faith's hand "Say goodbye sweetie."  She kissed her head gently as she wanted to soak up every single second she could with her daughter. She couldn't help but think that she had two babies and wouldn't get to see either of them take their first steps of hear their first words. Forever babies in her heart.

"Harry," she said reaching for his hand.

Harry looked down and took her hand. "Yes, love?"

"Live in the moment. We are taking our daughter home from the hospital. This is something to be cherished as we will never get this opportunity again. Don't miss out on the little moments because your are stressing over the big obstacles in the future," she said squeezing his hand.

He kissed her knuckles. "I'm sorry love. I'm trying not to stress out about things. I just want to keep you and Faith safe and...." he bent down and kissed her. "I love you."

"That's more like it," she blushed cradling their daughter closer.  "Did you bring the car around?" she asked.

"Yes," He said as they got off the elevator. He smiled when he heard her gasp at the sight of the new Range Rover. "Do you like our new car, love?"

"Harry, this is insane. The car is huge, you aren't messing around. Faith will be completely safe in this," she said with a grin.  "I love it!"

"Anything for my girls," he said. "Do you like the color?"

"I love the dark green color, Harry.  It's my favorite." She said with a smile still on her face.   "Did you have any trouble putting in Faith's car seat?"

He smiled at her. "No. Here, I'll take her and get her strapped in. I'm getting to be a pro at this," he said with a grin. He saw the nurse move to help Marian. "I'll help her."
