Heart Rate

Tony was clutching his pillow as his breathing turned into pants.

He had sweat dripping down his face as he had his nightmares.

"No." Tony yelled in between breaths.

"Tony." You groan as you woke up.

You turned towards him.

"Tony wake up." You said shaking him.

Tony yelled louder as tears came down his eyes.

"Tony." You said and hugged him.

Feeling your hands around him Tony calmed into your embrace.

You hugged him close to you as he sobbed.

"Tony?" You asked.

He opened his eyes, fearing of what he'll see.

"Y/n?" He asked.

He looked at you his face red.

"Tony I'm here." You said as his breathing hardened.

That's when you got Jarvis to tell you when ever Tony's heart rate increases.

You kept a comm on your ear, since you knew Tony was a bit insecure about it.

So you were the only person to hear Jarvis when he says it.

And Tony didn't know that.

You never left his side.

The Accords were the thing that brought the Avengers apart.

Steve refused to sign and wanted to help Bucky. It was understandable.

Tony did because he thought the Avengers needed to be kept in check.

Also Understandable.

You were more on Steve's side because he had the most understanding side.

And the Avengers weren't going to stop fighting.

"So pick a side?" Tony said. Tony stood with Rhodes and Natasha.

You were in the Avengers Tower seated in a room.

"Do I have to?" You complained.

Steve and Tony nodded.

"I don't know. You bring up some good points. But," you said. 

You sighed and stood up from your seat.

"Steve makes more sense." You said.

"Ms. Y/N." Jarvis says into the comm.

You furrow your brows together.

You pressed it secretly.

"It's seems that Mr.Starks heart rate has gone up drastically. He will meet his breaking point soon."  Jarvis explained.

Your eyes widen.

Tony was standing next to Rhodes. His eyes widen and his chest heaving.

"But Tony's right. We need to be kept in check." You said.

"He's decreased. He's back at healthy rate." Jarvis said.

Tony smiled and hugged you tightly.

You smiled at him.

"No disrespect to you or Bucky, Steve." You said.

Steve nodded and gave you a smile.

"I understand." Steve said.
