It has been two days ever since we witnessed the conversation between Umbridge and Professor Snape and I knew I couldn't address it to the potions master. I couldn't just walk up to him and say, "Hey professor Snape, why are you giving the pink toad Veretaserum?"
Well, that wouldn't be too wise.
It was useless. Umbridge was a plague. And while she and the Ministry denied Voldemort's return people were going missing. I didn't believe Voldemort was back, I knew so and it concerned me. Especially because Christine's mother was working in the Ministry she had a minor position in the government, but direct access to Fudge. Therefore Christine would be the perfect bait to get to the minister himself. No one knew how bad the relationship between Christine and her mother was. Her father left them because of a younger woman and her Mother got rather psycho about it. She had been a not so nice person before but when her husband left her two years ago it escalated completely. Christine's younger brother Lawrence was 10 years old and would attend Hogwarts next year. He was Christine's heart and soul.
I wasn't a scary cat but Voldemort wasn't to be messed with. And when it came to my one and only friend I was very protective.
There have been rumours that Professor Snape had been a Death eater... Did I believe them? Well, who knows. He was obsessed with the dark arts after all, but whatever he was in his past seem to have vanished. Dumbledore must have a good reason to trust the professor and that's all that counts. People change. People make mistakes and they chose wrong paths, but who knows what make them act like that? In the end we all have to make our choices and it only matters who we decide to be, not what we have been.
