"Don't even bother to say anything Draco. I believe your mother only tried to keep you safe... But when it comes to your father..." I gave Lucius a degraded look.
"He had to fall deep to realize how stupid this whole thing he got into was... Isn't that right Lucius? But I saw your suffering and I know that people can change for the better, so I decided to cover you, " I said directly glaring at Malfoy senior.
"The Wizengamot will decide what your faith will be. Don't expect me to step in for you. However, I will make sure you won't be harmed by the order of the Phoenix. But if you choose to deceive me by running away or attacking me, I will assure you will get no mercy."
Lucius seemed to still be a bit worried about my powers and me possibly killing him so he kept quiet.
Severus, who had been glaring at him the whole time now stepped in front of him shielding me away. Since he was taller than him he stared him down easily.
"If you cross her, then you cross me and believe me, Lucius, you don't want that to happen, " he growled.
Lucius touched apparently Severus death stare was more intimidating than the fact that I just took out an army of death eaters... Almost single handily...
But did he actually just threaten Malfoy, to keep me safe? I smiled slightly. Oh, how I loved this man.
All of a sudden a few men stepped up to us.
" Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco Malfoy you are arrested for being servants of the Lord Voldemort, " one of them said and handcuffed them.
"Severus Snape you are taken into custody for the murder of Albus Dumbledore and serving Voldemort, " another one said stepping up to Severus.
"Don't you dare! He's not guilty of any of your charges! You can't take him!"
I growled stepping in front of Severus.
"Step aside ma'am, the Wizengamot will decide that!" The guy said I raised my hand in anger sparks coming from it but a huge hand grabbed mine from behind. I spun around only to see that it was Severus.
"Don't do anything you will regret later. Let them take me, I deserve this, " he softly said.
I lowered my hand.
"No, you don't. Severus, please don't..." I chocked up.
"Life isn't fair sometimes, " he breathed letting go of my hand and caressing my cheek lightly with his thumb.
Two men stepped up to him pulling him away from me only to handcuff him too.
"No!" I called out. A tear running down my cheek.
He just stared at the ground as they took him away. Then they apparated.
My knees gave out and I kneeled down onto the ground, more and more tears dripping down my face. This was all too much for me.
