"The Patronus spell is working similarly. Emotions are translated into magic. Your Patronus is a defensive spell just like the shield you've generated... Do you remember how you just made things happen as a child, unexplainable things? This can be a very powerful magic... Ever heard of an obscurus before?"
"Yes, sir."
"Then you also know about the immense power that gets set free during a breakout?"
I nodded.
"This shows what is humanly possible without a wand. It is very unpleasant and deadly for the child..." I saw a shadow creeping onto Dumbledore's face.
"You may not be in total control of your powers jet. But with some training, you can become one of the greatest forces our side has. You are very talented (y/n) but you got to use it for the right thing."
I had already noticed how Dumbledore was playing chess with his people against Voldemort, especially when it came to my now stiffly in a corner standing professor but which choice did I have? And with what I've done I was more than just willing to risk everything.
I turned to Professor Snape and walked a few steps towards him. His expression was unreadable.
"Are you alright, sir?" I asked him in a quiet, soft voice.
"That is none of your concern (y/l/n), " he simply replied.
"We already went through that. It is indeed my concern!" I gave back to him.
"Headmaster, if we are done here I shall leave, " he turned to Dumbledore but gave him a really nasty look. What happened here?
"We're done, Severus." Dumbledore nodded.
Snape quickly left the room.
"He didn't want to duel in this aggressive manner, " Dumbledore all of a sudden said.
"But I told him he would have to push you to the edge to see your true power evolve. He didn't want to harm you. If I wouldn't have already guessed witch magic lies within you I would have agreed with him." And with these words, Dumbledore left.
