"Am I allowed to use the kitchen, sir?" I asked the houself in front of me.
Twinkies little face lit up.
"Of course ma'am," he hastily replied.
He led me to one of the ovens.
"Miss wanted to bake a cake right?"
"Yes indeed, old English chocolate, pudding, " I replied I had asked Dumbledore for his permission to go to Hogsmeade and get all of the ingredients and after I told him what the pudding was for he immediately agreed... Well, that was Dumbledore...
"Thank you, Twinkie!" I told the little elf.
"You are very welcome Miss, " Twinkie said running back to his working place.
I started working getting all of the ingredients out of the bag I brought. This recipe was my own version of chocolate cake... It used dark chocolate and was extremely delicious, not too sweet but still sweet enough.
As the dough was done I filled it into a baking pan and shoved it into the oven... Now I had to wait for 45 minutes...
"Twinkie, " I called out for the little elf.
"Yes, Miss" was the immediate response as he jumped next to me.
"Is there anything I could do to help you?" I asked.
"But Miss this is all just houself work, " he replied.
"I do not think so. Maybe I could help with washing some dishes or preparing some food?"
"Well if you insist you could clean some dinner lunch dishes, " Twinkie replied.
"That would be great, " I told him grabbing the fishes I dirtied up too following Twinkie to the huge sinks.
I washed and dried dishes for the entire remaining time also as the cake cooled off and after I got it out of the backing pan I obviously cleaned that one as well.
"Thank you again, sir," I told the elf as I left.
"Twinkie needs to thank you, ma'am, for helping cleaning the dishes!"
He squeaked.
"Don't mention it... It wasn't even that much... Bye-bye, " I waved as I walked off the cake in my left arm.
"Bye-bye, Miss, " Twinkie said as he disappeared into the kitchen again.
I had already written a little note:

Better late than never.
sincerely (y/n)

I would place it onto the bell cover.
I flicked my wand and the cake was levitating next to me.
Professor Snape would figure that I didn't try to poison him... Or maybe he wouldn't but I couldn't bring it to him personally... He wouldn't take it.
I let the cake levitate into the direction of his office the bewitched bell cove was not only visible for the sender and the addresses it would knock on his door all by itself until he would open up.
I myself walked back to the Slytherin common room. It was almost dinner time, but I had no intention of joining my rotten schoolmates in the great hall.
