"Now I believe you all have lessons to prepare." And with that, the staff room cleared out the Carrows staying behind.
"I'd like to have a word with the headmaster... Alone, " I requested as cold as ice, staring especially Alecto down. She had stared at me the whole time.
"Who do you-" but she didn't get any further.
"You two shall leave now, " Snape coldly said, staring her down winning my battle for me.
They left, her looking like a tomato out of anger.
I stepped up to the former potions master.
"Their listening..." I whispered close to his ear.
"Muffelato, " I threw the spell.
"What is your concern?" He coldly asked me.
"Let's not fuss about this. I might not know what exactly had been going on but I don't just believe, I know, that you are not a murderer. Not only Dumbledore has hinted at this a thousand times, but you would have also told the dark lord about me. If your loyalty wasn't ly with Dumbledore, I would already be dead."
"Be careful what you say, (y/l/n), " he hissed.
"Oh please, you can't fool me, Severus and yes I believe it is adequate to call you by your first name, we are colleagues after all!"
... Silence...
"He knew you wouldn't believe it, " he breathed.
"Dumbledore knew you would get behind it."
"Well, he was right. I don't believe it and no matter how bad you try, I won't buy into your act no more."
