It had been a while since the dark lord had called me. I had gotten my job at the place I had cleaned at before back, the payment wasn't too great only 70 pounds a month so I had taken two other offers. Now I was barely able to afford the water, gaß and electricity bill. Buying food wasn't such a great problem. My appetite had gone down to a point where I barely ate.
I felt terrible my best friend was dead, I had killed an innocent child and Professor Dumbledore had been killed by professor Snape's hand.
I felt so useless. So lost. I hated myself
Get over it, you pathetic idiot!
I didn't have much sleep because the nightmares haunted me. It was all too much and I could only imagine how the professor felt.
I stepped to the front door and looked outside the sun had started to set. Actually, it was really beautiful but I couldn't appreciate it.
I heard an apparatig sound then my doorbell rang. Who the freak could that be?
I walked up to the shady front gate and opened it up to my wand in my hand.
Rufus Scrimgeour the new Minister of Magic stood there. What the freak?
"Good evening, Miss (y/n) (y/l/n), is that correct?" He asked me.
"Yes, sir."
"May I come into the house? I'm here to bring you Dumbledore's heritage, " he asked again.
"Of course, " I mumbled stepping back letting him step into the yard. I closed the gate behind him and walked into my house.
I lead Scrimgeour into the living room.
"Would you like to drink something?"
"No time for civility, " he barked. And sat down on the huge leather couch. I sat across him.
He took a piece of parchment out of his cloak and it magically unfolded itself, hovering in front of him. My thoughts ran wild. What the freak? The minister started to read but I didn't understand one word. Focus, (y/n), concentrate.
"- To my future potions master (y/n) (y/l/n), I leave the last tears of the fallen Phoenix, knowing of her love for the rarest potions. In hope, she will put them to good use."
The Minister pulled out a tiny black vial.

"Are those actual phoenix tears?" I questioned in total shock

"Are those actual phoenix tears?" I questioned in total shock.
"Yes, to be more precise those are the tears of Fawkes, Dumbledores phoenix, " the minister replied.
"What could he possibly mean by what he has written?" the minister started investigating me.
"I don't believe that there is any hidden message. I just told Professor Dumbledore about my love for rare and old potions. I even have books that are Latin only on the subject. So I guess since Fawkes and I had got along very well he probably just wanted to give me a bit of happiness in these dark times, " I told the Minister. Of course, there was a hidden message but he didn't have to know.
He handed me the vial and stepped up to the shelf taking out the book I had pointed towards. It was the one I gave to professor Snape.
He read the title and placed it back.
"Very well I have to get going, " he said. I escorted him out.
"Have a great day, sir," I told him as he left... Great act, really.
I went back inside. What did Dumbledore mean? I laid a spell on the vial that made the glass unbreakable. Then I modified the top to form a hanger. Taking an old necklace to put it onto. I would wear it. That was the safest place.
