It was silent for a moment. Dumbledore and the potions master both stared at me. One with a thought the other one with a surprised expression on his face.
"That's a very unique point of view," Dumbledore said. Looking at me in an interested manner. Professor Snape on the other hand just stared at me saying nothing.
"However, I would prefer seeing you in Professor Snape's care... if he agrees to it. Severus will you take care of (y/n) tonight? " my heartbeat was very fast at this point the adrenaline mixed up with the extreme sadness had it going crazy. Did Dumbledore just kind of agreed to me?
Dumbledore gave the still silent Professor Snape a questioning look.
"I will, " he breathed.
"(Y/n), professor Snape already told me what happened tonight... Just know you did the right thing!" He explained to me
"Since when is murdering innocent children the right thing?" I gave back weakly another tear escaping my eyes.
"These are dark times, (y/n). We all have to make decisions. We have to decide between what is right and what is easy and you decide to do what is right today."
I didn't say anything.
"Have a good night (y/n) and Severus, keep an eye on her." With that, he left the room.
"I'm sorry, " I said into the room lowering my head.
"Don't be" the velvety soft, dark voice of my professor filled the room and made me shiver slightly. I could listen to him talk all day...
He must have given me something to calm me down and a pain-killing potion, while I had been out because I felt way better than before.
"I would take it back... But it's true, " I said because my professor still stood there quietly.
"Why don't you want me to see the good in you?"
Silence.
"Because if you see good you expect good and I can't live up to that expectation."
