"It was a wise decision to wait for her at the grand gate, " Dumbledore said his voice thoughtful.
My eyes opened. I saw the dungeons sealing.
"P...professor?" I choked up. My throughout was dry and my body sore.
"(Y/n)?" I heard professor Dumbledore and tried to give up but was punished with a stinging pain striking through my body. I hissed.
"You should remain lying down," Dumbledore told me stepping into my sight.
Suddenly, the memories about what happened earlier flashed back through my head. What had I done? A tear dripped down my cheek.
"I need to go, " I choked up again my voice full of tears.
"You are not going anywhere, Miss (y/l/n)!" Professor Snape ground.
No wonder I was Miss (y/l/n) again... I was a monster.
"I... I can't, " I gave back weakly.
"What do you mean you can't, (y/n)?" Dumbledore asked.
"I can't stay here."
It was silent for a bit.
"You don't want to stay with Professor Snape?" He asked with a wrinkled forehead.
"No, no, I just... I just don't want to bother him, " I croaked.
"I'm still here, (y/l/n), " Snape said raising an eyebrow.
I closed my eyes. And it was (y/l/n) again. The picture of the child, Bellatrix torturing it flashed back into my mind. More tears.
"Severus I think she is well aware of that. You are not burdening Professor Snape he-"
"You don't get it, do you? This is nothing compared to what professor Snape has been through!" I almost screamed now anger filling my body. I got up from the sofa trembling slightly.
"He has seen all of this over and over again! He has been tortured and humiliated by the dark lord for years! Always having to keep the act up having to do things, things beyond our imagination!
And now you tell him he has to babysit me, someone, who is already crying from witnessing one abduction, someone who is traumatized from killing one innocent child..." My voice broke. Tears streamed down my face again. I shook violently.
"Someone who has only caused him more pain and suffering by bringing him into danger... Yes, I am a burden. You just haven't asked the person, who you pushed all of the responsibility onto! Professor Severus Snape!"
