CHAPTER 73 - ARGIEL

TULAD ni Aerand, si Argiel at si Aesther ay parang mga translucent spirit-like creature. Pareho silang may mahabang blonde na buhok at may suot na shining white knight armor. Nahanap sila ni Eleazar sa Inaccessible Island at Nightingale Island na malapit sa Tristan Da Cunha.

Dahil malayo ang lugar, umubos kami ng ilang araw sa paglalakbay pabalik sa Fordbridge. Tulog pa din si Addie, pero kapansin pansin na parang masaya ang kanyang aura.

Hawak ni Chase ang Lumine Sword ni Aerand. Si Eleazar naman ang may hawak ng Lumine Sword ni Argiel at ako naman ang may hawak ng Lumine Sword ni Aesther. We summoned the guardians and they used their combined Vasi to find Addie. Biglang nagliwanag ang buong kwarto at biglang napalibutan ng kumikinang na liwanag si Addie.

"She's back. She just needs to rest. We found her in Caelum, trapped there for weeks. Someone cast this enormous Karan to trap her soul. I can only presume that they are planning to do this to all of you," paliwanag ni Argiel sa amin.

Naglaho si Aerand at si Aesther, pero nanatili si Argiel na kasama namin.

"Argiel, curious lang po ako. How many guardians were cast out of Caelum?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Hundreds of us were banished from Caelum. The darkness consumed us and transmogrified us into something more than evil. It was agonizing, yet the three of us did not give in and we repented."

"Ilan po sa tingin niyo ang nakaligtas na Shadow Spirit during the creation of light?"

"Apat lang ang may kakayahan na makaligtas. I doubt that they can be vanquished by the light of the Creator, but this may have weakened them. There are four of you now. My guess is possibly right."

"Si Alarcus po ay natagpuan nila sa Nova Scotia. Si Alvienna naman sa Mansforth mansion. May isa po akong nakita na lalaki na may green na mata sa isang waiting shed. Tingin namin ay isa din siyang Shadow Spirit."

Tumango lang si Argiel pagkatapos ko ibigay ang brief description ng lalaking nakita ko. Mukhang kilala niya kung sino ang tinutukoy ko.

"Alarcus lead the rebellion. He is one of the most elite guardians of Caelum and considered the right hand of the Creator. And yet, he is nothing compared to the Prime Guardian. I believed that the Prime Guardian himself orchestrated the rebellion, not Alarcus," paliwanag ni Argiel.

"Prime Guardian? Sino po ang Prime Guardian?"

"The Prime Guardian is the first guardian created by the Creator. No one knows his name, but I bet that Alarcus knows him. He is amongst the guardians who were cast in darkness, yet I have not seen or encountered him on the barren earth."

"Argiel, tingin mo ba may chance kami para matalo namin ang sinasabi mong Prime Guardian?"

"I can't answer that. When I was a guardian, the Prime Guardian is considered a myth as we never met him before. However, stories circulated that the Prime Guardian together with the Creator first inhabited Caelum. He was known as the son of the Creator."

Kahit hindi sabihin ni Argiel, parang malabo namin matalo ang Prime Guardian. Kinabukasan, nagising si Addie at wala siyang memorya sa kahit anong nangyari. Ang tangi niyang naaalala ay ang party sa Durham Mansion.

Bumalik si Chase sa hospital at si Addie ay ipinagpatuloy ang kanyang cafe business. Kami naman ni Raphael ay bumalik din sa opisina para magtrabaho.
