"Father. There is a nice ring to it. Amadeus! I I would like to call you Father from now on!" sabi sa akin ni Jaden Jasper.

Sa loob ng isang buwan simula nang ipinanganak si Jaden Jasper ay tila isa itong normal na sanggol na lalaki, pero pagkatapos ng unang buwan ay nakakapagtaka ang bilis ng kanyang paglaki.

In a span of three months, Jaden Jasper Lancaster is now a teenage boy.

"Father? The Vessel of the Immortal Blood would like to call a Shadow Spirit like me his father? That is ridiculous."

"Yeah, why not? You took care of me like your own son even if we are not blood related."

"Just call me, Amadeus. My time in this world is short. I would like to be remembered as the Shadow Spirit Amadeus who defeated the Endorian Witch Eleonore. That is basically it."

"What would you do if I tell you that I was able to glimpse the future? The future wherein my mother learned to accept you and to love you."

I was taken aback with what he just said. This kid is fond of making jokes, but his face right now does not look like he is making fun of me.

Do I want a future life with the Fourth Protector? I would answer yes, in a heartbeat. But that would be an impossible future.

"Bakit ka natulala? Sa tanda mo na, may mga bagay pa palang nakakapagpagulat sa'yo?" nakangiti niya na tanong sa akin.

"You are supposed to kill me, Jaden. After this mess, my undertaking in this world will come to a conclusion. Wala akong happy ending sa mundo na ito. And your mother is your father's Other Half. Your vision is not possible---"

Hinawakan ni Jaden Jasper ang kamay ko at ipinakita sa akin ang tatlong maikling pangitain. Ang unang pangitain ay kung saan binuhay niya akong muli gamit ang kanyang Vasi pagkatapos niya akong paslangin ng dalawang dambuhalang espada. Mabilis niya din ipinakita ang pangalawang pangitain sa akin kung saan nagpapakasal ang kanyang mga magulang at naging maligaya sila hanggang sa huli, hanggang tumanda si Raphael Lancaster.

Pero tila napako ako sa kinatatayuan ko nang makita ko ang pangatlong pangitain. Kasama ko ang Fourth Protector at masaya kaming naninirahan sa isang bahay na malapit sa dagat.

"Is that some kind of mind tricks?" naguguluhan ko na tanong kay Jaden Jasper.

"I just showed you what I have seen in my vision. Alam natin pareho na pwede itong mangyari, pwede din naman na hindi. Kung maghihintay ka, maaring mahalin ka din niya sa huli," nakangiti na sabi niya sa akin.

"If there is a slightest chance that the Fourth Protector will love me, I will grab that future with all my heart, son," nakangiti ko din na sagot sa kanya.
