JADE Amethyst Cardwell. Hindi ko alam kung paano niya nalaman ang totoong pangalan ko, pero sa lahat ng school records ko ay Jade Cardwell lang ang name na ginagamit ko. Tanging sa birth certificate ko lang nakalagay ang pangalan na Amethyst.

"Hindi ko gustong tinatawag akong isang Shadow Spirit o Karan. It makes me feel like I am the bad guy here. Just call me Amadeus."

"I will let you go, but only if you agree to my terms."

"Anong terms ba ang sinasabi mo?"

"I will let you out of your glass prison, but you have to give me your word that you will not dare escape this ship. We are in the northern Arctic Ocean, far north of Alaska. I know you will attempt to do so, but I am warning you, it will be futile. The freezing waters will continuously kill you and it will be very painful every time you resurrect yourself."

"Okay, so anong choice ko? Meron ba?"

"You will stay with me for a few months. You can be assured that I will not torture you. No harm will ever come upon you. Consider this as your home. If you do what I say for the next few months, I will return you unscathed to the Protectors."

"Few months? Gaano katagal ang few months na sinasabi mo?"

"Less than a year perhaps. But if you decided to stay here for good, you will always be welcome."

"So gusto mo ko maging prisoner mo dito sa barko ng isang taon. Is that it? Wala bang catch?"

Lumapit si Amadeus sa glass cube at tinitigan ako. His blue eyes are captivating, but I am quite sure that he is not hypnotizing me to do his bidding. I can't deny the fact that this man is extremely good looking with a lovely face.

"Attempt to escape even once and I will not hesitate to end your immortal life."

"Amadeus, ano ba ang balak mo sa akin? Bakit ako nandito?"

"I am not really sure. Are you accepting my proposal?"

"Tinatanong mo pa ako, wala naman akong choice dito?"

"Yes, you have a choice, Jade Amethyst Cardwell. I can extract all of your Vasi and throw you in the freezing waters until you die or you can stay here like a queen."

"Doon tayo sa queen sa loob ng prison cube!" inis na sagot ko sa kanya.

This man is pretending to be nice, pero wala din naman akong choice kundi magstay dito. Kailangan ko manatiling buhay para makabalik ako kay Raphael. Alam ko din na seryoso siya sa sinabi niya na papatayin niya ko kapag tumakas ako.

Pagkatapos nito, binuksan ni Amadeus ang pinto ng glass cube. Paglabas ko dito, naramdaman ko agad ang paglalaho ng Vasi ko. Tama nga si Amadeus, may kakayahan ang buong ship na ito para i-nullify ang Vasi ko. Ito din siguro ang dahilan kung bakit undetected ang mga Shadow Spirits sa napaka habang taon.

"My terms and conditions are just blunt and simple. Stay here and you will live. Leave the ship and you will die," sabi niya habang hinahaplos ang buhok mo.

"Pwede ba akong magtanong sa'yo? Amadeus?"

"We have all the time in the world, Jade Amthyst Cardwell."
