I was still working long shifts, even though i was pregnant it wasn't going to stop me doing the job love doing. Leyton was not best pleased but it was my happiness that counts as he would say. I saw Maggie when i could but we were both so busy, however it was her wedding in two days and i was stoked.

Being her maid of honour i needed a dress however with my small bump it had to be a last minute thing, literally. I had to order it in for tomorrow, with a dress designer in Atlanta i made sure it was shipped and delivered on time.

Things with Leytons family were still sour, he barely spoke about it or to them. To be honest i wouldn't know what to say. Enough day dreaming i was now down to my last three hours of my shift. "April, theres a patient in room five, would you mind?" Polly the head nice smiled. "Sure, thats fine" i scrubbed up grabbed my paper work and made my way to the room.

"Afternoon, Libby? my name is April and i am your nurse today, how are you?" I smiled at this beautiful blonde haired little girl on the bed. "im ok" - I confirmed her details with her parents before carrying out some tests. "What happened, Libby!!" - "I was riding my bike, and i lost my balance, and i fell off" for a four year old her vocabulary was excellent. "what colour is your bike?" i ask questions to try distract her while i run all the boring but necessary tests needed.

"pink, with a blue baby seat .." - "sounds wonderful, does it hurt anywhere?" - "just my arm, and my leg is a bit sore too" - "thank-you, so what i'd like to do, Libby is do a few test make sure you are big and strong and then, the doctor will be in to examine you further is that ok?" she nodded but looked worried. "and dont worry, i will be as quick as i can, tell me about your bike?"

After 15 minutes the test were over - "If you wait here, ill go see if the doctor is free, and he will be in soon" i say to her parents. "thanks, and thank-you for being patient with Libby, not alot of people are" I gave her mom a confused but friendly look. "She's Autistic, it takes her a while to become comfortable with new or strangers, but she seems to like you" - "I wouldn't of even known, Libby is a great kid, Mrs Thomas, you should be proud. Excuse me, ill be back shortly" i gave Libby a wave before leaving the room. Its moments like that in my Job that makes it all worth while and why i love it so much.

* LEYTON POV*
I've never expressed my love and gratitude to April. How wonderful beautiful and an amazing person she really is. I'm beginning to be myself again. Myself who I was years ago, I'm beginning to find love the way I loved Avery.
April is giving me the greatest gift of life I couldn't ever be more greatful for that. I knew one or two people who she would die to see; I made a couple of phone calls and planned a dinner for the four of us this evening;

I was going to make this the night I asked April to marry me, but I'm going to save that for another special night ...

*APRIL*

Arriving home the smell of home cooking lingered through the whole house, it smelt devine. I kicked off my shoes and walked through to the kitchen. Leyton was cooking dinner, "Babe?" I question. "April, how was work?" - "busy, but good. what are you doing?" - "cooking? can i not cook for my girlfriend?" he smirked. "sure .. but usually its when something is happening, and why is the table set for four?" What the hell was happening?

The door bell went, "I'll get it" he smiles. and walks round the corner. something is definitely going on. "Prilly?" Only Maggie called me that.

"Mags?"
