Fifty nine.

- Leyton -
I didn't want to leave her bedside but I had to go home change and grab the twins some stuff to drop at Frankies. I would want them with time but my head space isn't the best and they're to young to understand what's going on.

"Please don't worry about these two, focus on April" she smiled as she let me in.
"Thanks. Hey my babies!!" I smiled bravely as I scooped them both up a d smothered them in kisses and cuddles for half an hour.
"Remember frank. No mom" mother was out on trial to see how she copes but she isn't allowed within a distance of the children.
"Got it ... call me later."

"Your just on time, Leyton. we're gonna try wake April up now" Dr Tyler was on shift, thankfully. My heart was pounding. My emotions were running high.
I stood by April's bed side watching and waiting as the doctors and nurses done they're own part.

It felt forever.

"Welcome back ... Mrs Stevens!" dr Tyler smiled as April was awake. She was awake. I've never felt so relieved.
Her eyes scanned the room. "You're in hospital ... do you remember what happened?"
She shook her head.
Then looked at me, her whole body relaxed as she smiled.

I took her hand in mine. "I'll give you some time" Dr Tyler left and closed the door.
"You don't half like to scare me ..."
she smiled. "Sorry .."
"I'm just glad you're still here"
"I won't be gone that easily"

- April -
My whole body was in pain, I could feel the pain running through my body.
I could hear voices around me - it sounded like the doctor -

I could feel her remove the tubes from me and ask me to wake up ... I took it all within me and flickered my eyes open. I scanned the room. Hospital? "You're in hospital ... do you remember what happened?" Dr Tyler asked. I didn't, not really. I shook my head.

I then looked over and saw Leyton standing by my bedside. My body relaxed and I smiled he came by and held my hand.

"What happened?" I asked as I tried to sit myself up but my body wouldn't let me. "I don't know ... you called me and I came outside ... and found you on the floor ... do you remember anything?"
"No ... I just remember being on the floor and calling you ... and pain running through me"
I mean this was enough to send anyone off the rails someone must really hate me.

"The twins are fine don't worry ... we just need to get you better" he smiled kissing my hand.

"We will ... I'll be running you round the house in no time"
