Seventy one

I picked the twins up from day care before heading home! It was crazy how much they were growing up.
We pulled up into the drive way, Leyton was home already! With both of us busy working we barely saw each other these days.

"Let's get you both inside! And see daddy" I smiled as I opened the car door. Both of their faces beamed with pride hearing daddy's name.

"We're home!" I called out closing the front door behind me.
"Hey honey!" Leyton called from the kitchen. Alfie and Aubrey walked over to him arms open wide.

He scooped them both up and smothered them in kisses.

"How was your day?" I smiled giving him a soft kiss.
"Good! Yours?"
"Same! I actually have some good news!"
"Oh?" He asks surprisingly.
"Yeah ... my clothes are gonna be on fashion week next week!"
He gasped and smiled " that's incredible!! Baby, I'm so proud of you!!"

"Thanks babe, I mean it's a lot of hard work getting everything ready, but I believe in my team!"

He reached for the wine and two glasses! "Of course!! This is amazing news!!"

"It is! I still can't believe it"

Settling the twins down! I called my mom and told her the news! She was thrilled. But also explained how much she was missing us all ...it was hard not seeing them. I promised to make time in my schedule so we could go over. I know the twins will love it too.

"Baby fancy a bath?" Leyton asked smiling. I knew his game.
"Are you joining me?" I started undressing.
"I was hoping you would ask"

Even though we barely see each other the passion is still there. Our love is still there.

We made love in the bath and in bed that night. - it's still as passionate as before ...

"Mmm good morning beautiful" he whispered pulling me back towards him pressing his lips upon my bare back.

"Good morning to you ... both" I chuckled he knew what I meant. He looked over my shoulder both twins were still asleep it was 7am

"We have approximately half an hour .." he smiled biting his lip.
"Well ... better stop talking them hadn't we"

Another day another dollar. It was Wednesday, they had two days to give me my samples for the show. I was nervous but I had faith I knew they worked hard and exceeded expectations.

I had lunch booked with Ari today! I was excited I haven't had girl time in forever.

But not before all three of my meetings. What's next for April designs.
I hadn't even thought about it myself!!

I conferenced myself in on the call with Vanessa and the team. "Good morning April!"
"Morning!"
"Ok .. let's get started, so we're thinking expanding ... more branches"
Expansion?
"Are we ready for expansion though! I don't want to expand too early"
"Looking at the numbers, April you're exceeding every month ... this is the perfect time to think about expanding"
She wasn't wrong.

"Ok ... and where?"
I made sure I took all the notes I wanted and needed.
"Europe, London. One of the fashion capitals. We've found the perfect place for a store ..."
London?
"London. And what if this doesn't work?"
"Well make this work. We need your go ahead for us to put this in action"
"Make sure you run all amendments and decisions by me first."
"Of course!"
"Ok sure. I have to go. I have another meeting"

I mean I guess I am still the same person as last year but my attitude changes daily. I mean now I'm my own boss but I also am the boss of my team and clients I have to be some what firm and strict. I secretly enjoyed it.

My whole day consisted of designing and meetings especially focusing on fashion week next week. I need everything to be perfect.
