Seventy seven.

- Leyton -

I knew April had been acting strange for days. She looked different but I just put it down to her new career and how well she was doing I never in a million years thought we would be pregnant again ...

When April handed me my gift I didn't think it would be all baby things inside and the tests which clearly read pregnant.

I guess the way I responded I sounded not happy but it was shock and happiness!
"When did you find out?"
"Today ... you was in your meetings I didn't wanna bother you ... are you happy?" She asks nervously.
"Yes baby! I'm so happy ..: having a family with you is all I ever wanted."

His reaction too me by surprise. He seemed shocked? Not happy at all. My heart was sinking.
But when he smiled with happiness and tear filled eyes I felt love all over again, I mean sure this pregnancy hasn't come at the right time but I wouldn't change it!!

I can't wait to experience it all over again!

We decided to keep it quiet until we wanted to tell our friends and family. Especially since we were both busy with our businesses.

But this was an extra excitement added to our family.

Now the next journey begins.

"Alright .. well congratulations both of you, baby looks well and healthy, from all measurements you are 15 weeks!" Today was our first scan. Each time was magical. It always felt like the first.

We got our print outs and headed out to the car. "I cannot believe we're doing this all over again! When do we tell everyone?" I smiled.
"When do you want to tell everyone?"
"Well ... Christmas is right round the corner so why don't we do it as a gift?" I suggested.
"I love that idea"

Christmas was our favourite time of the year, having the families together but most important us being together and the twins! Especially when we don't really see them as we work a lot. It's precious family time which is not bought.

We picked Alfie and Aubrey up from day care and set home where we spent the day in the garden in the pool playing games just having general family time.
I liked to take a day off work one day a week just to relax and be myself.

It was crazy how quick these two were growing up I thought to myself as I sat back and watched them play with Leyton. Soon they're gonna be going to kindergarten and then school. But I'm thankful we're able to do it all over again with this little one. I smile to myself as I place my hand over my stomach.

After putting the kids to bed we both sat down and began Christmas shopping. Whilst we had the time to do it it's best to do it now.

We spent the next three hours completing it, secretly it was his favourite part but he never admitted that.

My favourite part was the wrapping I just find it therapeutic.

"That's done!! So have you any idea how you want to tell everyone? As in a gift idea?" Leyton asks.

"No! I don't know. I mean we could do each of them a gift? But a joint one? With the scan inside? Or with a gift card?"

"Either idea is beautiful ... I'm just thankful we can do it all over again" he smiles placing his hand on top of mine smiling.
We laid like this for a while before both falling asleep, together.

"Right let's get you both to day care shall we!!" I beamed a smile at Alfie and Aubrey as they walked out to the car.
I had a day in the office today! Conferences everywhere ... I just wish I could spend more time with the twins ... but I only have another week before I start my vacation early. And I couldn't wait.

"Bye babies, have a good day! Mommy loves you'" I smiled as I waved them off. "Love you mommy" they echoed. My heart filled with love when they talk. They're own little voices.

I drove to the office before my first meeting in half an hour. Checked in on the store and the numbers, as in the takes of the store, surprisingly it's doing better than I anticipated! I informed the store new stock would be delivered over the next week before Christmas break.

I had new designs in the pipeline! Something a little different to my usual but I'm sure it'll sell.

My first meeting was with my business partners. Discussing what happens next after the Christmas break.

It was a long meeting but needed.

I arranged to meet Leyton for lunch as he only worked down the road! And we needed as much time together as we could.

"How was your meetings baby?" He asks as he orders us lunch.
"Busy. It was just discussions about what to do next that's all ... I've put a hold on it for now! I feel it's all moving too fast and too much work to juggle will just be too much to take on" I sighed. I knew I couldn't stress which is why I put a stop to it for me.
"You made the right choice baby. Just don't stress it'll all come together after the Christmas break"
"I hope so. I just don't like saying no"
"But in this industry you have too. It's not a confirmed no. It's just been put on hold."
"Yeah I guess so. How was your morning?"
"Busy. But good. It's time to hire a new employee a a manager to run the club when I'm not there ... I want to spend more time at home with you, and the twins and then eventually the new baby"
Now if you asked him a year or two ago! To stay home as he would have a wife and a family, he wouldn't believe you! He would be calling you ridiculous.

"I would love that. We would love that. But do what you want to do"
"I'm doing it. I'm interviewing today. Male only. No discrimination towards women!!" He chuckled. "I just feel with my club a male would suit it better"

"Your lucky I don't take offence! But I understand where your coming from!"

Our lunch was beautiful. Even if it was a short lunch it still meant a lot because we was together, and it took the stress away from me for a while before I returned to finish the day.
Leyton was on day care pick up as I was running late today.

I just couldn't wait to get home.
