Ninety Eight.

- Aubrey POV - 

School was in an hour. I changed my look slightly today, I went with my plaid skirt knee high socks and heels and a white tank and plaid jacket, i mean you could say it was similar to Brittany Murphy in Clueless. 

My hair loosely curled hanging down my back and makeup on, i also packed my outfit for tonight there was no way i was missing my boyfriend's party. I mean i was studying at Daphnes house, thats the story i was gonna tell mm and dad anyway. It was all planned. 

- Im parked up the road, babe. G xx - my ride was here. I double checked my self in the mirror and headed downstairs. All eyes were on me, of course. 

"Im going, im meeting the girls at school early" - I mean i wasn't exactly going to say good morning after last night. "in that outfit? i dont think so, go change" my dad snarled. "no. im not breaking the dress code, dad. i like it, its comfortable." "Aubrey. you go to school to learn, not dress like that." "like what dad? an exotic dancer?, maybe thats what im gonna be, who knows. im gonna be late, excuse me" I threw my bag on my shoulder and walked out the door. I just wish i had as much freedom as Alfie. 

- April - 

It wasn't even 9am and it was already an eventful morning. But that wasn't going to ruin the day, all the kiddies have gone to school and pre school and nursery. I decided to go into the office and work on some more designs aswell as continue meetings. Our lives were never quiet. If it ever was quiet something would have to be wrong; "Right. team new designs, coming out these are the fall collection, i will start promotion tomorrow, this is all you need to know, please draft me some up so i can see before you make a batch" I wouldn't call myself a strict boss, Im fair. but bossy when i need to be especially when it comes to my work. 

It was 2:30pm, school pick up, i drove to pick up Leo and Vee and then Lottie-Rose before driving home, Im assuming Alfie and Aubrey will be making their own way home. They both had drivers Ed after if anything good is happening to Aubrey it will be this. Or it could be the wrong decision however time will tell. 

"Mommy, can we have snack before dinner please?" Lottie smiles. "Yes baby, but one ok. dinner wont be long" i smiled switching on toy story for some down time before dinner this evening. Leyton was working late, so it was me and the household, challenging but i like it. 

"Hey mom" Alfie beamed as he came through to the kitchen after school "hey honey, how was your day?" - "Good. thanks. Drivers ed was great, he thinks ill be ready for my test soon" he smiles drinking his water. "thats brilliant news babe, im so proud of you, wheres Aubrey?" I look behind his shoulder. "thanks, erm i dont know? she done her drivers ed but then she didnt come on the bus home?" what? "did you see where she went?" he shook his head "no .. maybe shes with her friends" - "shes grounded she needs to be home .. dont worry honey, do your homework and then we can all have dinner" i smile softly pulling out my phone; 

- Studying at Daphnes tonight, be home late - Aubrey - is she joking? i immediately dialled her number. "mom?" "dont mom me, where are you?" - "Daphne's i told you ... we are studying" - "yes ... and your grounded you need to be home, Aubrey" - she sighed on the other end "mom ... this is my education, her mom is totally fine with it" - "let me talk to her mom" - i tapped my fingers lightly on the counter. "Mrs Stevens, this is daphnes mother, Tanya, Ill be here all night with them ... dont worry, ill make sure she leaves at a reasonable time" - "make sure she doesn't leave your home, please. and have her home by 11" - "sure .." the phone went dead. what else could i of done?
