My eyes blinked open, to the sound of what I'm guessing was the doctors and nurses. "Welcome back April"
I looked around the room, my baby. Where is she?

"Where is she?"

"She's fine. She's with her dad, we need to make sure you're fine before we take you round" a nurse smiled as she checked all my obs.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You passed out, Mrs Stevens. We had to send you to theatre for emergency surgery, she was delivered safely don't worry" she smiles softly.

C-section, wasn't exactly my planned birth but As long as she was delivered safely that's all that mattered.

What felt like a life time i was finally ok and allowed to my private room to see my baby. I was wheeled half way down the corridor into an elevator and to another floor level.

"Mr Stevens. Your wife is awake and here" the nurse smiled as she wheeled me into the room. There he stood by the window cradling our daughter.

He out her into her cot and came straight over to me hold me tight! "Baby, I was so scared I was losing you" he whispered! The doctors closed the door behind them as they left.

"You'll never lose me" I kissed his arm which was tightly around my shoulders.

"Ready to meet her?" He asks standing up. "More than anything" I smile sitting myself up.

He bought her over to me and placed her in my arms, she was beautiful. Angelic features. Her lips pursed as she sleeps.
"Perfect" I whisper kissing her gently.
"Do we have a name?" He looks at me.
"Yeah we agreed right?"

He nodded - taking a photo of us all and sending to our friends and family.

Finally we was discharged a day later.
I have missed my babies so much i couldn't wait to introduce them to their sister.

We planned to have family round In a few days once were settled. To be honest I just wanted to spend time together as a family before we had visitors.

"Mommy!!" I had missed hearing that word even if it was a few days.
"My prince and princess ... mommy has missed you so so much!" I smothered them in kisses and hugs. Even if I was in pain, but it was worth it.

"Careful, mommy's sore right now .... but we have a surprise!" Leyton smiles.
"Baby?"
"Your sister that's right, sit down and you can meet her"
He carefully lifted her out of her car seat. Their faces grew into big smiles.

"This is your sister ... her name is Lottie-rose" he placed her on their laps. Instantly they cuddled her and kissed her head my heart was full.

"She's beautiful mommy and daddy" Alfie says as he strokes her head.
"We love her" Aubrey replied. This was what I was most worried about how they would react but I can tell they're going to love her as much as we do.

This is where the challenge begins.
