Seventy three

- fashion week -
It was crazy. It was the final day, it was my day. My designs. I felt sick.
The nerves were big.

I had the support of Leyton behind me and my family and friends.
I headed to the runway location, where I met my models who were all super beautiful and measured them up for the outfits I've got. Thankfully they fitted perfectly.

We done a dress rehearsal trial run before this evening. I've never been this nervous not even when I graduated.

"Don't stress baby, you're gonna rock this. I'll be out front with Alfie and Aubrey and we'll be cheering you on"  Leyton pressed a kiss on my forehead for reassurance.
They were my biggest fans.

I spent the afternoon with the twins whilst Leyton had work before tonight ... I left my assistant Hayley in charge of the models.

We went to the park and then for lunch with Ari and Charlie. She's really become such a close friend, I guess since I don't really speak to Maggie anymore, Ari has filled that gap.

"So ... Toby has said he can babysit tonight so I can Come to the show!!" Ari smiles. Toby was her partner.
"That's amazing!!! I'd love to have you there I'll reserve you a seat at the front with Leyton!"
"I'm so excited!! Is everything sorted!"
"Yeah, I think!! I'm so nervous I can't think straight"
"You'll be fine. Have faith. You can do this!"
We finished our lunch before heading back home.

I had four hour until the show began and I had to be there at 7 an hour early.

I chose my black dress which was fitted and sat just below the thighs. With stiletto heels. It was one of my dresses it seemed right I wore it.

"You look beautiful ... ready to go?"
I double checked the twins looked their best as well as Leyton before we left.

They waited around in the lobby talking to friends and family whilst I headed out back to make sure everything was in order.
"Hayley! How's it going?"
"April!! You look great! Everything is fine ... the models are nearly ready just outfits now!"

"Perfect."

It was show time.
