I didn't wanna worry Leyton at work. But I decided to make it a surprise for him ... I phoned Dr Tyler and booked an appointment, thankfully she had one today at 5pm! Three hours.
I phoned Leyton and told him I had an appointment at 5, I knew he would come with me. This was the perfect way to do it.
"Is everything ok?" He asked as we drove to the hospital. "Yeah just a check up ... better to be safe than sorry" I smiled holding his hand.
We arrived. I told dr Tyler my plan I'm hoping it all goes the way I need it too. "Babe can you grab me some water?! I'll be in room three when you get back" I smiled as we was called in.
I laid upon the bed and lifted up my stomach, Dr Tyler placed the cold gel on and began scanning.
"April?" Leyton asked as he came in the room. "Surprise ..." I smiled he sat beside me holding my hand watching the screen.
There on the screen a little wriggle ... the tiniest heartbeat I've ever seen ... it was actually a baby.
"Your around 10 weeks April .. everything is looking great. If we see you again in a couple weeks time too?"
I nodded in agreement
There was ... my baby? Our baby?
I'm not ready to give this baby to Leyton ... I want this baby.
