You walked with Kaydence, heading to DADA. You groaned "Kill me now." You growled.
"Yes please." Kaydence agreed.
You and Kaydence walked into the classroom heading to an empty table near Draco, and his goons. You sat down next to Kaydence and crossed your arms, a frown on your face.
"I already hate this class." Kaydence muttered.
You chuckled "Yeah, I'm about ready to go jump in the black lake." You said.
"I mean, he's an absolute bafoon. How did he even get the job?" Kaydence asked.
"I have no idea Kay, it amazes me how he's managed to live this long." You mumbled.
Before Kaydence could say anything else, Lockheart came out "Let me introduce you to your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher… me!" He beamed.
"He seems a little into himself." You whispered to Kaydence.
"Oh definitely." She whispered back, "Do you think he-"
"Oh my god, don't you dare say it." You said, looking at her.
She grinned "Well, do you?!" She asked.
"Probably, he's lonelier than a Dementor." You whispered back.
"Gilderoy Lockhart, Order of Merlin, Third Class, Honorary Member of the Dark Force Defense League, and five-times winner of Witch Weekly’s Most-Charming-Smile Award- but I don’t talk about that. I didn’t get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at him." He beamed, letting out what sounded like a giggle.
You hit your head against the desk, and groaned "Oh for the love of Merlin." You mumbled.
"Now- be warned! It is my job to arm you against the foulest creatures known to wizardkind. You may find yourselves facing your worst fears in this room. Know only that no harm can befall you whilst I am here." Lockheart boasted. "First we will start off with a quiz!" He exclaimed.
With a wave of his wand, papers where all passed out to each student. You frowned and looked at the paper, your mouth practically dropped to the ground. Your eyes scanned all the questions in disbelief, and you swore your eyes twitched slightly.
"This is a fucking joke right?" You whispered.
"I hope it is, I mean these questions are insane." Kaydence growled.
