Blowing in the Wind - Bob Dylan

-----

Mina heard a loud motorcycle engine pull into the lot. Looking out the window, she saw Jax get off his bike that was in rough shape. Nero walked over from his car to talk to Jax. Mina watched as they walked over.

She and Chucky went into the garage to give them a few minutes to talk. As much as she wanted to, she fought the urge to listen at the door. As they waited for them to come out, Wendy and the boys pulled into Teller-Morrow.

Mina walked over to help Wendy get them out of the car. "What's going on?" Mina asked, seeing bags in the car.

"Nero and I are taking the boys up to his uncle's farm for a few days."

Mina smiled, picking Abel up out of his seat. "That'll be so much fun!"

He ran up, yelling, "Daddy!"

They stepped out of the office as Abel ran into the garage. Mina walked into the garage, watching Jax walk with his boys back to Wendy's car. The way he was acting, she knew something was going to happen. But she didn't know what.

When Jax walked back, he sat down on his father's bike he had been working on. Shaking Chucky's hand, he said, "Take care, Chucky."

"Bye," he sighed.

Jax turned toward Mina. "Look after your old man for me."

She nodded, "Yeah, of course." Jax pulled out of the garage and out of the lot. Chucky stood and watched him leave, as Mina took a few steps forward, realizing she'd never see him again. "Bye, Jackson."

Chibs stepped out the back door of Red Woody where Ratboy was waiting with Jarry. "She's alone," he said to the vice president.

"Okay," he sighed, looking at Althea. "I'm good, Rat." Ratboy went back inside while Chibs stepped closer to Althea. "What're you doin' here?"

"You don't pick up your phone anymore," she answered.

"Been a bit busy the last couple of days."

She said, "Patterson put out an APB on Gemma this morning. Needs answers on what she saw the night of Tara's murder."

He shrugged, "Think she's up north."

"We need to talk to her."

"So talk to her," he scoffed. "I ain't our mother's keeper. That it?"

"No," she said, taking a small step forward. "Whatever this was...it's done."

He chuckled, "You wanna play this game again? I already told ya it was done."

"I'm not playing, Filip. I don't want your pay off and I don't want you. From now on, I'm just a cop, you're just an outlaw." He chuckled as she spoke. "We both do what we have to do."

Chibs took a step forward closer to her. "I think that's a mistake."

"Why?" she asked. "Because you have feelings for me?"

"No," he scoffed. " 'Cause cops who land on the wrong side of us..." He leaned forward, making her lean back. "...they tend to go away."

She asked, "Are you threatening me?"

"Don't have to," he said. "History doesn't lie." Chibs turned and walked away from her. "Stay safe, Sheriff."

When Chibs walked back inside, Tig walked over to him. "I brought Tyler up to speed on the Irish."

"Okay, good," Chibs sighed. "What about T.O?"

"I sent him to help Alvarez sort out all that sh*t with Connor. He shouldn't be a part of this vote."
