Chibs' POV

-----

Monday morning, five am. The worst sound in the world was Mina's alarm clock. The pesky blaring that filled the bedroom was nothing but pure annoyance. The worst part of that terrible sound was half of the time, Mina continued to sleep through it.

I leaned over her trying to reach the clock, but my fingers fell short. I didn't want to wake her up but she slept in the one spot that prevented me from moving. The further I stretched the more I disturbed her sleep.

"Stop, it's too early to f*ck," she grumbled, not opening her eyes to see me struggle.

I chuckled, "You're a pain in the arse," as I kept leaning. Finally, when I shut the damn thing off, her cat jumped up, landing on my bare chest with all of her claws out. "Ow, damn it," I groaned at the piercing nails.

Mina moved her face so it was entirely in my chest next to her aggressive cat. "Just because it's too early doesn't make me a pain in the ass," she said, dreamily, "I'm just tired. It's not my fault..." she yawned, "...that you keep me up at night."

"The f*ck are ya talkin' about?"

She reached up to touch my face but hit the cat, scaring her. Digging her claws further into my flesh, I yelled and sat up, knocking both Mina and the devil of a cat off of me. "The hell is your problem?" Mina yelled at me. I started laughing at her and she looked so confused. I leaned down to kiss her, but she put her hands on my chest, stopping me. "No, I don't want to talk to you." I winced a little; she put her hands on the new scratches her devil left on me. "What's wrong?" Moving her hands away, she started chuckling at the twenty red claw marks on me. "Aw, baby."

"Think I'll make it?" I asked, looking down.

Mina chuckled, shaking her head. "I don't think so, baby." She leaned forward and kissed my chest. "If only there was something that could be done." She kissed each mark and then sat up, pulling the blanket around her, exposing me. Looking down in between my legs, she chuckled, "Aw, baby, I'm flattered."

"I hate ya," I laughed, trying to cover myself. She kept the blanket away from me and rolled over to see what time it was.

"Oh, it's already five o'clock? Thought it was earlier. I didn't hear the alarm."

"I'm aware," I sighed, covering myself with my hands.

Mina stood up, dropping the blanket onto the floor, and walked into the bathroom, leaving me naked on the bed. I got up and dressed, then walked into the kitchen to start breakfast. The house was a mess. We had had a busy weekend of not leaving and doing our two favorite pass times: movies and bed.

I could hear the shower start up as I turned on the coffee pot. Her cat had the audacity to rub her back on my leg. "No, I'm not feedin' ya." I walked over to the lower cabinet to get out a frying pan and the cat followed me. "Shoo," I sighed, pushing her away with my palm. I put the pan on the stove and had the sudden urge that needed to be released. As I ran to the bathroom, I repeated to the tune of William Tell Overture, "Gotta pee, gotta pee, gotta pee, pee, pee."

I pushed the door opened and lifted the seat of the toilet. Mina opened the shower curtain a crack and stuck her head out. "What the f*ck are you doing?"
