Chibs laid on his back almost asleep with Mina's head on his chest. Listening to her breathe, feeling her skin on his, inhaling her scent of honey shampoo and lavender body wash, he took it all in. His phone started to ring on the floor next to him.

He slid out from under her and grabbed his phone before walking into the living room. "Aye?" He picked up his boxers off the floor and put them on.

"Catch you at a bad time?" Nero asked.

"No, what's goin' on?"

He sighed, "Tara took the boys and split. Jax's in a bad place, mano."

Chibs rubbed his forehead. "Sh*te. You and Gem with him?"

"Yeah. He destroyed everything in Abel's room. He's not takin' it well."

"Want me to come over?"

Nero chuckled, "I don't know, man. Maybe."

"Sh*te," he groaned, "A'right, I'll be there in twenty." Chibs picked up the rest of his clothes and put them on. Walking back into Mina's room, he pulled his hair off of his face. He leaned over Mina, kissing her forehead. "I'll be back soon, love." She grumbled and rolled over.

Chibs rode over to Jax's house. When he got there, Gemma was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. "What're you doing here, sweetheart?" she asked.

"Nero called. Told me about Jackie."

She hitched her thumb over her shoulder. "Go on in." She laughed, "Have fun."

He walked inside and heard screaming from the bedrooms. Nero was standing in the doorway, dodging furniture. He patted Nero's shoulder and he turned to look at the VP. "I got it, brother," Chibs sighed. Nero nodded and walked outside to talk to Gemma. "I don't think trashing your son's room is gonna bring 'em back."

Jax panted after throwing the mattress. "What're you doin' here, man?"

"Came to help ya."

"I don't need your help, Chibs. I need to get my family back."

Chibs extended his hand to help Jax out of the rubble. "We will. You'll get 'em back, I promise ya."

Mina rolled over, expecting Chibs' stomach to stop her. But, she hit the mattress instead. She sat up, pulling the blanket up higher on her chest. Looking at the clock, it read 3:18 in bright blue lights. She grabbed her phone and called him.

He dug his phone out of his pocket. Jax asked, "Your old lady?"

Chibs laughed, opening the phone. "Aye?"

"Where'd you go?" Mina asked, running her fingers through her hair. 

"I had to take care of some sh*te." Jax looked at him funny and Chibs mimicked his face.

She laughed, "Are you coming back?"

"Aye, in a wee bit."

"Want me to wait up for you?"

He smiled, "No, get some sleep." He could hear her laugh on the other end. "You'll know when I get back."

"Oh," she grinned, "really?"

"Aye."

Mina laughed, "Promise?"

Chibs smiled and Jax rolled his eyes. "Oh, yeah, I promise."

She giggled, "Well, then, I'll see you later."

"Aye, ya will. Good night, love." She hung up the phone, putting it back on her nightstand. Jax was pretending to gag. "Oh, shut up, Jackie," he laughed.
