Chapter 76: Dear Ol' Dad

A wrench got thrown in the club's plans for the day. The Mayans found Juice. The president of the Stockton charter, Oso, went to pick up the club and bring them to the warehouse where Juice was. 

"Relax," Alvarez said to Juice as they walked in. "Just some old friends." They all stared at Juice and he stared back at them, terrified about what was going to happen.

"How'd he get here?" Jax asked.

Alvarez said, "Showed up at the store. Wanting to trade club secrets for a one-way ticket to Puerto Vallarta."

Jax looked back at him. "Big move." Looking back at Alvarez, he asked, "What do you want?"

Jax and Alvarez walked over to a table to talk. As they spoke, Chibs stared at Juice, thinking about how Juice should've gone anywhere else but the Mayans. He should've left California altogether and gotten help elsewhere. Chibs walked forward and grabbed Juice by the throat and pushed him down in a chair, then sat across from him. 

After a few minutes, Juice looked up at Chibs. "How's Mina?" he whispered. 

"Shut up," Chibs growled. 

When Jax and Alvarez finished talking, they stood and hugged. Chibs figured something good must've happened. Jax told Alvarez, "Take that cut off him."

The club walked out of the warehouse and went up to Red Woody while they waited. Jax went to talk to Tully and then to Teller-Morrow to talk to the Grim Bastards. When they walked in, the first thing Chibs saw was Mina's face.

"What the hell happened?" he asked, looking her over.

She chuckled, "I could ask you the same question." She pointed at the cut on his eyebrow and bruise on his cheek.

Chibs laughed, "Had to deal with some...hateful people. What's your excuse?"

"Retaliation for choking that girl yesterday."

"Motherf*ck," he muttered. 

Ratboy walked over, "Did she tell you?"

"F*cking tattle tail," Mina scoffed. "Yes, I told him."

Chibs asked, "Where is she? I have a few words to say to her."

"It's fine, baby," Mina sighed, while Ratboy pointed to the couch on the other side of the room. Mina smacked his arm down as Chibs walked over to her. 

As he walked, his phone started ringing. Jax said, "Tyler found DuLain." He told him where they were going to get him. Chibs groaned, walking back.

"Deal with this sh*te later," he told Mina. Looking at Ratboy, he ordered, "Keep her outta trouble." He walked over to Tig and Quinn and said, "Gotta go, boys."

Wendy walked in the door as they were walking out. "The hell have you been?" Tig asked.

"Gemma needed a ride," she answered. 

"Thought Unser was helpin' her?" Chibs asked.

Wendy said, "We both went. No one rides alone, right?" as she walked past them.  

They rode out to Stockton with the Grim Bastards and the Mayans. They surrounded DuLain and his guys. Jax and T.O went over to talk to him and then T.O shot him in the head. As Jax walked back to his bike, he gave the go-ahead and the three MCs shot all of DuLain's crew. East Dub was wiped out instantly. 

From there they went to meet with Leland again. Meeting in the middle, Jax said, "Talked to Tully."

"So did I," Leland sighed.
