Chibs woke up to the sound of Mina's alarm. She forgot to turn it off before she fell asleep. It was five am and they were both awake. Mina was on her stomach with her head on Chibs' chest and her leg over his waist. His hand was on her thigh and his other arm was wrapped around her back.

He reached across the bed, silencing the alarm clock. On his way back, he kissed her. "Mhm," Mina smiled, "good morning."

"Mornin'," he replied. He kissed her again, pulling her close to him. "How're ya feelin'?"

Mina sighed. She didn't know how she was feeling; she was sad that her friend was murdered but she was happy to be waking up in Chibs' arms. She just answered, "Better."

Chibs smiled and kissed her forehead. "Good." He cleared his throat and asked, "What d'ya want to do first?"

"Shower," she giggled. Climbing over him, she got off of the bed. When she was in the doorway, Mina turned to look over her shoulder. "You coming?"

He laughed, "Aye."

Standing up, he watched her naked body walk into the bathroom. Following her, he heard his phone ring in the kitchen. "Do you need to get that?" she asked him.

"No," Chibs sighed looking back at her. "Told ya, I'm takin' the day."

Mina pushed him against the counter. "We better make the most of it then," she laughed. Standing on her tiptoes, she gave him a long, deep kiss.

His phone started to ring again. Chibs groaned. "It's probably Tig. Lemme go tell him that I'm not doin' sh*te today." He kissed her again. "I'll be right back." As he turned to walk out, Mina smacked his bare ass. Chibs turned to look at her. "Oh, you're gonna pay for that," he chuckled with a wink.

"I'm counting on it," Mina giggled. As he walked away, she turned on the shower and stepped in once the water was warm.

Chibs picked up his cell phone from the kitchen table. "Aye?"

"Hey, man," Tig said. "You comin' to Scoops today?"

"No," he sighed. "Why're ya there so early?"

Tig laughed, "I, uh, crashed here last night. You're not comin' today?"

Chibs replied, "No, I'm gonna spend the day with Mina. We both need it after all the sh*te that happened."

"Yeah, I get that, man. How're you holding up?"

"Fine," he sighed. "How 'bout you?"

"Eh, I'm alright, just tired." After a few seconds of silence, Tig chuckled, "Alright, go be with your old lady."

Chibs laughed, "A'right, I'll talk to ya later, brother."

He closed his phone and tossed it back on the table. Walking back into the bathroom, he could hear Mina singing in the shower. "It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, she moves in mysterious ways," she sang with the radio. Chibs laughed listening to her. He stepped into the shower with her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Didn't know ya liked U2," he chuckled, swaying them from side to side.

Mina laughed, "Didn't know you knew who they were."

"There's a lot ya don't know about me, darlin'." He kissed her neck and reached up, grabbing her breast.

She could feel his member getting harder against her back. She chuckled, "Tell me something then."
