Chapter 117: Pinch Me

It was another sleepless night for Chibs. As tired as he was, as much as he wanted to sleep, he couldn't shut his mind off from the worries that bounced around. Mina rolled off him and was laying on her back next to him. 

He rolled onto his side looking at her as she slept. He tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear off of her face. She turned her head a little, feeling his hand on her cheek. Chibs pulled his hand back, tucking it under his head.

Watching her breathe in and out, he couldn't help but smile. He loved her more than anything in the world. As she slept, she moved putting her hand behind her head, exposing her stomach. 

Chibs looked down at her large belly that was carrying his baby. He gently put his hand on top, trying not to disturb her sleep anymore, and moved his thumb in a small circle. 

He slid down in the bed so his face was next to her side. Keeping his hand on her stomach, he closed his eyes, hoping that being closer to the baby would help him sleep. But, he still couldn't sleep.

Opening his eyes, Mina started to roll back on her side. He slid over so she wouldn't land on top of him. He stared forward at her belly button as she peacefully slept unaware of how unrestless Chibs was. 

"Hey kid," he whispered. "How's life in there? What's it like?" he asked, starting to wonder about life in utero. "Whatever," he laughed in a hushed voice. "I can't wait for ya to come out. Can't wait to meet ya. Sh*te, we're gonna have some fun times," he chuckled, putting his hand back on Mina's stomach. "Oh, kiddo, I can't f*ckin' wait. I know your mum is excited too."

Chibs kept quietly talking when Mina reached over expecting to have her hand land on his Chibs' chest. She opened her eyes slowly, staring at the seemingly empty bed. She felt Chibs' hand on her stomach and slowly glanced down, seeing his form at the foot of the bed. 

"Ya know, kid, I'm gonna spoil the everlovin' sh*te outta ya. I don't care what Mum says, you're gettin' everythin'." Mina smiled, trying not to laugh at him. "I'm gonna give ya the world."

She kept staring down at him as he spoke to her stomach. It was the purest, sweetest thing she had ever seen her big, bad, biker ever do. Mina grinned as she saw his big goofy smile look admiringly at her belly. She loved seeing him look so happy.

Chibs felt like he was being watched and looked up. Seeing Mina's beautiful blue eyes he couldn't live without stare down at him. He chuckled and slid back up on the bed so he was eye level with her.

"What're you doing?" she laughed. 

He smiled, "Nuthin'."

Mina smiled, pushing the hair off his forehead so she could see his eyes. "No, you were talking to the baby."

"So what if I was?" he chuckled.

"It was precious."

Chibs laughed, "I'm precious now?"

"Yeah," she nodded, yawning. "Why're you awake?"

He shrugged, "I had to talk to the babe." Mina laughed, pushing his arm. He pulled her over so she had her head on his chest. "Get some sleep, love." 

Mina reached down, grabbing his hand, and held it close to her face. "I don't wanna sleep if you're awake." She brought his hand to her lips and kissed his knuckles. 

"Nah, look at your face," he chuckled, looking down at her. "You're exhausted. Get some sleep."

"You just want to talk to the baby again, don't you?" she giggled.
