Broken - Seether

Mina POV

-----

Chibs let go of my hand to answer his phone. "Aye?" he asked, smiling still thinking of our conversation.

His face dropped, hitting the directional, and pulling to the side of the road. I didn't know what was wrong. He got out of the car, slamming the door. I stayed, listening to him scream.

"What the f*ck d'ya mean he's missin'? What do ya f*ckin' mean?" he screamed, "Ya said Lin wouldn't know this is us! No, don't say that! Ya know damn well it's him! Don't f*ckin' kid yourself, Jax! Motherf*ck!" He continued screaming and swearing until he slammed his phone shut.

He got back in the car after hanging up the phone and sped down the street. I didn't know entirely what was going on, but someone was missing. He was flying down the highway, muttering under his breath.

"Chibs, Chibs, slow down," I said, grabbing the handle above my window.

"Motherf*ckin' hell, he's missin', let's pretend like we don't know why, don't know how."

I said, "Chibs, please slow down, baby." He wasn't listening, just kept driving, moving in and out of the cars around us. "Chibs, please."

He looked down at how fast we were going, "Oh, sh*te." He took his foot off the gas so we gradually slowed.

After a few minutes, I asked, "What's going on?"

"Bobby's missin'."

"What? What happened?"

He sighed, "We did some sh*te today and last night, and now Bobby's missin' more than likely as a result."

"What'd you guys do?" I asked, not sure if I wanted the answer.

"Ya don't want to know," he exhaled, driving us back to Charming as fast as the speed limit would allow.

I looked up at him. "Did you kill someone?" He didn't say anything, he didn't look at me. "Chibs?"

"Aye." He rolled down his window and lit a cigarette. "Aye, we killed someone." I looked away from him, as he took a drag. "Had to be done." Looking back up at him, he sighed, "He killed Tara."

"What? You guys found who killed Tara?" He nodded. "How?"

"Doesn't matter. We found him. Now, we have to find Bobby."

When we got back to my house, he went over to his bike and left. I stood and watched his tail lights go down the street. I was being selfish, I didn't want him to go.

I walked inside, closing the door behind me. I looked at the clock and saw it was a quarter after ten and I wasn't expecting him to be back anytime soon. Walking into my bedroom, I took off my dress and kicked off my high heels. Putting on my big, Beastie Boys t-shirt, I walked into the bathroom to wash my face.

Looking in the mirror, I looked at the marks that lined my neck. Teeth marks and hickeys from the nape of my neck up to my ear.

"Christ, Chibs," I sighed, examining them.

I sat on the couch and waited for him. It was a little after midnight when he got back. He stumbled as he walked in, hitting one of the chairs at the kitchen table. It hit the floor, making me jump. He picked it up before continuing over to me.

"Hey, darlin'," he slurred.

He kept going into the bedroom. I followed him in there and looked at him as he kicked off his boots and flopped down on the bed. He laid on his stomach and fell asleep. I shut down the house and then returned to the bedroom to find a passed out Chibs on the bed.
