The lights came on, sending Chibs' pupils into shock. Lou walked in with Remington close behind her.

"How's our victim?" he asked. Chibs took a deep breath, looking up, trying not to get angry while looking at them. Trying not to break. He had to keep them in this dance a little longer to make sure the next time Mina saw him, he wasn't in a pine box.

Chibs looked at Lou. "I'm sorry about what happened."

Remington scratched his cheek, getting annoyed with him. "Jax, Jax still hasn't answered us.."

Chibs clenched his teeth, looking back to Lou. "I really am sorry. I...I dunno what got into me. I'm sorry." She looked away from Chibs to Remington, who started speaking.

"We sent Jax a package containing Bobby's eye. Maybe that can get our point across to him since nothing else is." He chuckled and walked out. He called to Lou, "Clean him up, he's bleeding all over the floor."

She looked back at Chibs, studying his swollen, bloody face. "I'm sorry," he sighed, "Did he hit ya after that?" He looked at the cut on her lip then back at her green eyes.

Lou laughed, smiling at him. "What? You realized you're this close to death and you're trying to get a pardon?"

"A pardon?" he laughed, "The only pardon I need isn't comin' from you. I just wanted to ask. You're the one who has to deal with him and lose everythin'. I already lost it all."

One of the men walked to the door and held a trey for her. She grabbed it and brought it over to Chibs. Lou picked up a rag and dipped it into the bowl of water. While she wiped the blood from his face, he kept seeing her as Mina. He couldn't get Mina out of his mind.

Lou looked nothing like Mina; she was blonde and had green eyes, but she was short like Mina and had a similar smirk, except her's had something sinister behind it.

Chibs shook his head, "Sh*te," he whispered.

"What? Did I hurt you?" she asked.

"No," he looked at her, "No, I'm fine."

Lou chuckled, "Let's see if you really are." She started to lift his shirt up, but he squirmed away. "I just want to make sure everything's okay."

"Can't someone else do that?"

She laughed again, lifting his shirt. "Why? You worried you're gonna get hard again?"

"Aye," he said, looking at her as she examined his abdomen.

"Well, you better control yourself because no one else knows medicine. So, you're stuck with me." She moved her hands up his side. He winced from her touching his broken ribs. "Does it hurt there?" she asked, pushing a little deeper to see.

Chibs chuckled, "No, I just like groaning for fun. Aye, it hurts, it's broken."

"Yeah, it is," she groaned. She turned and grabbed two pills. "Here, take this."

"I'm not takin' sh*te from ya," he protested, leaning his head back.

Lou chuckled, "Just take it. It's not poison, I promise."

Chibs looked at her, trying to see if she was lying or not. He decided to take the chance; sticking out his tongue, she put the two red pills on it.

After he swallowed the pills he asked, "Why'd ya kiss me?"

She chuckled, "Does a kiss mean a lot to you?"

"Aye, it does," he lied.

"It was just a kiss." She looked at his other side and saw a massive bruise that wrapped around his back. "Does this hurt?" she asked, touching it.
