Cochise - Audioslave

-----

Tig answered the phone, "Hey, brother. Lin's truck just pulled down a private road, a local farm. It's too risky to follow him, man. No other way in or out."

"Where are ya?" Chibs asked.

"Where are we? County 201."

Ratboy said over the phone, "Lower McCall is the closest cross-street; it's about two miles east."

Tig asked, "You get that?"

Chibs sighed, "Yeah. Stay outta sight. We're on the way." He hung up and walked over to Jax and Bobby and recounted to them what Tig just told him.

"Let's do it," Jax sighed. "Jury! Let's hit it!" he called over. Jax looked around the produce stand they were waiting at and saw a stack of hay bales. "Chibs, see if they'll sell us some of those bales."

"Sure," Chibs shrugged, getting off his bike. He walked over to the counter and asked, "How much for six of those bales?"

Mina sat in the office, finishing up the phone calls when someone walked in. "One second," she smiled at them and then finished her call. When she hung up she asked, "How can I help you?"

"Here to pick up my car," she said.

Oh sh*t, she thought. Gemma didn't tell her how she was supposed to do it. Just figure it out, shouldn't be too hard. "Which car is it?" The woman told her and Mina looked at the wall holding all of the keys. She was looking for a Toyota and was coming up short. "Let me go check in the garage and see if they have them." Mina walked over to Chuck. "Do you know where the keys are for the gold Toyota?"

"They should be in the office on the board. Are they not?"

She shook her head, "No and the owner is here to pick it up." They walked back into the office and he looked at the board they were supposed to be on. He turned, noticing them on the desk. Picking them up, he spun it around his remaining finger that wasn't wooden. Mina took them from him and handed them to the owner who was freaked out by Chucky's hands. "Sorry about that." She grabbed the paperwork Gemma had her once fill out and gave it to her.

The woman gave it back to Mina and said, "Thanks," before turning and leaving.

Wasn't too bad, Mina thought sitting back down in the chair to finish her calls.

She liked being at Teller-Morrow and helping out any way she could. Made her feel like a real old lady. All her life she had seen Gemma, Wendy, Tara, even Donna hang around there and the clubhouse. She realized that she was now in that category.

Chibs and Jax sat in the flatbed of the truck with the hay bales and the van followed them. They saw Tig and Ratboy sitting on their station wagon and pulled up next to them. They hopped down to talk to them and figure out the plan.

"All right," Tig said, "Silver BMW, panel truck pulled onto that private road about five minutes ago, brother. It's gotta be the buyers."

Ratboy said, "All Asian, three deep in the sedan, single driver in the truck."

"All right, we do it now," Jax said.

Chibs took off his cut and handed it to Ratboy who threw it in the car with his and Tig's. They got back in the truck and van. As they drove down the road, Chibs loaded up the shotgun and handgun he had. He held it in front of him, standing up in the flatbed.

The guys at the meet stood in front of their panel truck guns in hand. Jax opened fire on them and they fired back at him and Chibs. The rest of the club jumped out of the vans and started firing. Chibs and Jax jumped down to get a better shot.
