Best of You - Foo Fighters

-----

Chibs pulled up to the new clubhouse around seven-thirty. He put his purple KD's in his cut pocket as he walked in. "Mornin', boys."

Tig picked up his coffee mug, taking a sip. "Morning, Chibby."

"Coffee's hot," Bobby sighed.

Chibs filled a mug of the black liquid and sat on the counter. "When's Jackie gettin' here?"

"Any minute," Bobby sat down at one of the tables behind Tig. "He had to drop the boys off at daycare."

"How bad is it?" Chibs asked him, taking a sip of coffee.

Bobby sighed, shaking his head. "Bad." Chibs shook his head; nothing was calming down and everything was getting worse and worse for them.

Jax walked in a few minutes later. "Hey," he said to the guys.

"How's Tara doing?" Bobby asked.

Jax got a cup of coffee, "She'll be okay."

Chibs asked, looking over his shoulder, "How're you?"

"I don't need to talk about it anymore." He took a sip of his coffee. "Look, the sh*t that went down between my mom and Tara was crazy."

"Well," Bobby stood up, "It's not about that." He handed Jax the newspaper.

He read the headline: "Local Gangs Tied to Count of Aquino Shooting; Byzlats, Sons of Anarchy May Have Supplied Gun to Shooter's Mother." Jax threw the paper down on the counter. "Get everyone here. Chapel."

Tig pulled out his phone and started calling everyone.

Mina sat on the couch watching 10 Things I Hate About You when her phone rang. Without looking to see who it was, she answered, expecting it to be Chibs. "Did you forget something?" she giggled.

"Did I?" Jessica asked.

"Sh*t," she whispered.

Jessica replied, "Thinking it'd be someone else, huh?"

Ignoring her question, she asked her own, "What's up, Jessica?"

"What're you doing?"

"Sitting, trying to watch a movie I've seen a hundred times. Why?"

She chuckled, "Let's do something. Go to the mall, get coffee, get food. Let's just do something. I'm bored."

Mina sighed, "When? Now?"

"Yeah!" Jessica begged. "You can buy something cute for the man you were hoping was on the other end of this called."

She laughed, mockingly. "I need twenty minutes."

"I'll pick you up!" Jessica cheered, hanging up the phone.

"This girl, I swear," she mumbled, getting off the couch.

Mina walked into her room and put loose-fitting jeans on with a bleach tye-dyed Led Zeppelin T-shirt and grabbed her sweatshirt. Launching the sweatshirt into the living room, she walked into the bathroom to brush her teeth and put a little makeup on.

Jessica pulled up to the house, hitting the horn. Mina came out, closing the door behind her. "Come on!" Jessica yelled.

"Calm down," Mina sighed. "I'm coming." She walked to the car and opened the door.

She locked the doors as soon as Mina was in the car. "Tell me everything!" she ordered.

"Jessica." She shook her head. "I'm not doing this sh*t."
