Slither - Velvet Revolver
Mina's POV
------
Chibs picked me up from school. He had a little bit of time before having to get back to the club and he wanted to spend time with me. You could imagine his face when I said I had to go to the library. He was so disappointed, it was almost adorable.
I hated that I made this stupid promise. I told this kid in my study hall class that I would find a book for him; go out of my way to search and search for one of the hardest books to read.
I kept my arms wrapped around his waist as we rode. Keeping my cheek on the back of his cut, all I could smell was the leather hide on his back and the cologne he wore that I absolutely loved. He took the turns leaning too far, too close to the ground just to make me get nervous and squeeze his waist tighter.
When we pulled up to the library, I got off first and unstrapped my helmet. After he got off, I put it on the seat and he put his on the mirror. He grabbed my hand as we made our way into the library. The feeling of our fingers locked together was amazing. How our hands fit together perfectly amazed me.
As we walked over, a man standing by his car yelled at Chibs. "Take your stupid jacket off! You look ridiculous! No one wants to see it!" Chibs stopped walking and looked down at me
He laughed, "This f*cker serious?" Chibs turned to face him. "Anythin' else ya wanna say?"
"Take off the jacket."
He smiled, "It's not a jacket, it's a cut. Get your facts right, ya son of a b*tch."
Chibs was laughing until he said, "Why don't you get out of here before I call the cops?"
He let go of my hand and turned towards the man. "What the f*ck did you just say?"
"I think you heard me."
Chibs pulled the side of his cut open, revealing the gun he had. I didn't know he was carrying it. "Watch yourself," he growled. "Wanna say anythin' else?" The guy shook his head. "That's what I thought."
He moved his cut back in front of his gun. Grabbing my hand, I couldn't help but smile. I know it's wrong to threaten people with guns, but did he look incredibly sexy while doing it? Oh, absolutely.
Chibs let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around me as we walked in. I was looking for a book for myself and had to find The Iliad and The Odyssey. We walked into the back of the library where the classic books were. No one ever went back there. The dust on the books was an inch thick and smelled of must and mold.
"Where is it?" I mumbled to myself.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and put his chin on my shoulder. "What're ya lookin' for?"
"I want to read The Scarlet Letter," I sighed.
He repeated the title over and over again as he scanned the shelves. Only letting go of me with one arm, he reached forward, picking a book from the top shelf. "This it?" he asked, holding it in front of me.
I smiled, "Yes, sir, it is." I took it from his hand and he kissed my neck. "What're you doing?" I chuckled.
"C'mon," he mumbled into my skin.
"We're in the library!" I laughed. "We'll get arrested!"
Chibs chuckled, "No one will find us." I laughed again as he moved his hand down in between my legs. "C'mon, darlin', no one will find us."
We walked to the end of the bookshelf. There was enough space between the edge of the shelf and the wall for us to fit. He kissed me hard, pushing his tongue into my mouth. He pulled my pants down a little bit and then pulled down his own. Picking me up, he moved to my neck as I wrapped my legs around his waist.
