"Y/n, hey do you want to hang out today?" Ned asked as he walked over to my locker with Peter.

"I wish I could guys, but my mom is making me stay home tonight. She isn't feeling well."

"Is she okay?" Peter asked concerned.

"Yeah. Just feeling nauseous and dizzy." I gave a small smile and nod.

"Okay. Well maybe you can join another time!" Ned smiled.

"For sure."

"Bye guys." Ned left as we walked passed his classroom. We said bye and kept walking to our last class for the day.

"You look really pretty today." Peter complimented me.

"Thank you. I got this new butterfly hair clip. It's real amethyst." I smiled and showed him.

"Wow that thing looks expensive."

"I got it at the thrift store for like $15" I lied.

"Nice. Maybe I'll come with you next time and see if I can find something." He nudged me.

"Maybe." We walked into class and sat through another boring lesson.

"What am I going to wear tonight?"

"That's my job to decide, love. You just sit back and get your hair done." My personal stylist Jimmy told me.

In case I forgot to mention, I'm pop star Katie Valentine. I keep my real identity a secret because as y/n, I hate attention. But as Katie, I'm confident and bold.

The hair stylist put my wig on, it was a lavender bob.

"Can you put in my new butterfly? I paid $150 for it, I wanna wear it."

"Yes ma'am." He put it in and now it was time for my outfit.

Jimmy gave me a silver iridescent dress, and boots.

I performed and signed some things for my fans. Then I went outside, like always to catch my breath and get some cool fresh air.

And I was getting mugged.

"Give me your fucking money! I know who you are!"

"I just got done performing I don't have anything on me!"

"The jewelry. Come on!"

I took off my rings and necklace.

"The butterfly thing." He pointed.

I nodded and reached back, before seeing a flash of blue and red. Mostly red.

Spider-Man. Wow. This was really happening.

I watched as Spider-Man webbed the guy to the building and swung us away.

"Are you okay?" He asked. "Oh my god you're Katie valentine!" He started fangirling.

"Youre Spider-Man. You just saved me."

"Y-yeah it's what I do. Hey, could you sign something for me?"

"Of course. It's the least I could do." I nodded.

He pulled out a marker and his phone.

"The back of the case." He explained. He had a clear phone case. Interesting. I signed it and gave it back to him.

"Is there anything else I can do for you?" I asked nicely.

"Can I get a picture?"

I nodded. We took a couple of pictures on each of our phones. I wanted to have proof that I met Spider-Man. Well, Katie.

"Can you take me back down?" I asked and he nodded.

We went back down and I missed his cheek, mask on. "Thank you, again."

"My pleasure." He smiled under his mask.

After a few weeks of talking to Spider-Man as Katie, I noticed myself developing feelings. My feelings for Peter were much bigger, but Katie and Spider-Man were a famous ship now.

I was hanging out with Peter, we don't get to a lot anymore.

"Are you ready to watch over 19 hours of wizardry and witchcraft?" I asked happily with a smile.

"You promised we could watch Star Wars next weekend so ME!" He gave me that dorky smile.

We stared at each other softly before turning to the movie.

He put his arm around me and I cuddled into his side. We were flirty sometimes, but usually when we get flirty, after a couple weeks he gets really serious with Stark and ignores me.

We both fell asleep in the middle of the second movie. The next morning, I dressed up as Katie to go meet Spider-Man at our usual place.

When I got there, Spider-Man was already there waiting.

"Hey spidey. Sorry I'm late. It takes time to look this good." I joked with a smile. I hugged him but he didn't hug back.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"Is there something you need to tell me, Katie." His voiced dripped with venom

"N-no."

"Really? Because I did some research on you."

"why would you do that?" I asked upset.

"You're too familiar. I had to figure out who you were."

"And did you?" I asked angrily.

"Yes, y/n."

I let out a shaky breath and closed my eyes.

I tore my wig off in tears.

"I thought that you of all fucking people would understand wanting to keep your privacy! Why the hell would you do this to me, spidey? Why?" I broke down. "Fuck!" I yelled, sitting on the floor of the roof we were on.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think about that. I-I'm not going to tell anyone, I promise. D-do you want to see who I am?" He asked.

"It would make things even." I stood back up.

He took a deep breath and then took off his mask.

"Peter..." I teared up more. "I wasn't ready for you to know yet." Tears poured out of my eyes like waterfalls.

"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry y/n. I should've just minded my own business. I just didn't expect you to be her."

"What made you suspicious?"

"The butterfly clip. I didn't notice when I saved you, but I went back and watched Katie's performance on YouTube and saw it. You're taking me being Spider-Man well."

"I'm more relieved that i don't have to choose between Peter and Spider-Man."

"Because you would've chosen Spider-Man?"

"Katie would've chosen Spider-Man. Y/n will always choose Peter." I nodded.

"How about, Katie can have Spider-Man In Public. And you can have me in private." He winked.

"Peter! Your Spider-Man is showing." I giggled and leaned in, kissing him majestically.
