MG (Legacies)// Earthquake?

God this teacher is so boring. I sat in between Kaleb and Lizzie, with MG on Lizzie's right side. I've always like MG and sometimes I think he likes me back, but other times he just kind of ignores me.

As class went on, Kaleb and I started talking to each other. We were already friends I think, but we actually had a real conversation.

I hadn't noticed, but MG was now in the seat next to me.

I looked at him and smiled, which he returned the action. He was so adorable.

I turned back to Kaleb. "Did MG get closer to me?" I asked even though I already knew the answer was yes. 

Kaleb nodded and I looked down at my desk, trying to hold back a smile.

"You like my boy don't you."

I slightly nodded. Could MG hear us right now? He is a vampire. I glanced over at MG and he was paying attention to the teacher.

"Wanna make him jealous?"

"How?" I asked.

Kaleb put his arm around me and I went along with it. MG noticed and switched seats with Lizzie again.

"That just made him mad." I crossed my arms. "Just forget about it." I paid attention to the teacher until the ground started shaking beneath us.

"What the hell? Is that an earthquake?" Some random kid yelled.

No, this isn't an earthquake. This is too... weird.

The ground started breaking up, and our teacher yelled at us to get out of the room.

We couldn't walk on the floor, so we walked across our desks.

As another rumble came, the desk underneath me cracked, causing me to fall.

Except I was caught, not be Lizzie, who I thought was behind me, but by MG.

"Thank you." I held his hand and we safely got out of the classroom.

The hallways seemed fine for now, which was weird. Was it only targeting our classroom? Whatever it was. Was it another Malivore monster?

I looked at MG. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah. I can heal. Are you okay?" He asked back.

"I'm fine. Thanks for catching me back there." I smiled as I looked into his eyes. I rubbed my thumb across his hand and he clearly got nervous. The next second, his hand was gone, and so was he.

I sighed. He always runs away.

Kaleb came up to me. "Are you okay?"

I nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. You?"

"Yeah. Look y/n, he'll come around. He's just nervous."

"He doesn't have a reason to be nervous. I already like him and that's not going to change, Kaleb."

Kaleb didn't say anything, he just looked out of the window.

"What are they running from?"

"Look, a dog!" Kaleb broke his normal character.

"Oh. Right. I don't see anything."

"We should get into our next class."

"Yeah. Let's go." We ran into our next class, which was Mr. Peter's class.

I saw MG and a few random students who weren't usually in this class. Something isn't right here. I can feel it.

MG gave me a look, warning me that this wasn't good.

"Here, you guys need to put these bracelets on! They will cloak you from the monster. Hurry up." Mr. Peters rushes us. I looked up at MG, he wasn't saying anything. In fact, nobody was talking or moving.

Kaleb was about to put his on, until I grabbed it.

"Here. Why don't you put one on. I'm a witch. I can cloak myself." I handed him one of the bracelets.

"I don't need one. I'm already cloaked. Now put the bracelet on."

I didn't. I told Kaleb not to as well.

"He's the monster, Kaleb. Don't put it on."

Our teacher rolled his eyes and began fighting Kaleb.

I ran over to MG and tried getting his bracelet off. I did a spell to make it open and it did.

MG hugged me and pulled away.

"We have to help everyone else, come on-" he suddenly stopped talking.

I felt something sharp pierce through my stomach.

It was an arrow. This dude shot me with a fucking arrow.

Kaleb and MG continued to fight as I weakly started unlocking everybody from their bracelets.

But I only got through about three people. Hope, Lizzie, and Josie.

They all joined the fight, and I dropped to the floor.

I need them to win, otherwise I die for nothing.

I heard a scream and immediately saw MG in front of me.

He snapped the arrow and pulled it through me. I screamed and cried.

He started to bite his wrist, but instead I just held his hand.

"Tell Lizzie I love her." I choked out, blood dripping out of my mouth.

"Shut up and let me heal you." Tears stained his eyes.

He bit his wrist. "Milton... it's okay. I'm ready."

"Well I'm not." He put his wrist up to my mouth and I began drinking his blood, feeling my wound heal up immediately.

He helped me up and put his arm around me.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

"How dare you try to be a martyr!" Lizzie laughed and hugged me. I returned the action.

Everyone except MG, Kaleb and I left the room to see if anyone else was hurt outside the classroom.

"Oh by the way, you guys like each other." He patted us on our backs and left the room.

"I- I don't-" MG started making an excuse but I didn't want to hear it.

"I like you a lot." I interrupted him.

"You do?"

"Yeah."

"Okay." He smiled. "I like you too."

"Wanna go on a date sometime. Not today obviously but maybe this weekend?"

"Yeah, I'd love to." He got excited. "How do you feel about picnic in the woods?" He asked.

"Great. Let's do it." I kissed his cheek and we parted ways. I saw Kaleb and the others outside the door listening.

"You guys suck." I smiled and lightly hit Kaleb.

"You can't hear him but the dude is dancing and singing." Kaleb laughed.

I peaked my head in and sure enough he was. I smiled when he caught me staring. He suddenly stopped and I laughed.

"You're a dork."
